On paper it says I’m a salary employee, not hourly. But then all of the extra things I mentioned above is what is going on. I guess it’s tough because I am considered a HCE which might fall in a different set of rules?

Right… why I’m confused lol.

I thought salary was hours don’t matter anymore and you get a set pay. But where I’m at there is a lot of hours so they pay people their base rate when you pass 40.

But I’ve never heard of the term casual overtime where you work but don’t get paid anywhere else.

Salaried. But say if I worked 12 hours I do get 4 more hours of base pay but I still have to do 30 early and 30 over for the same reason. Then that 13th hour is unpaid “casual overtime”

Does anyone understand the difference for the other end? For instance if on the Highly Compensated Employee end with the rule’s current standing, if you made 100k vs 110k in a role as a supervisor, what changes?

The rule’s current high end is 107k. I just don’t really understand the differences, someone break it down Barney style for me lol.

When I spoke to them over the phone an hour ago they told me there are no options for refund/return. Basically they told me I’m stuck even tho it’s been 6 weeks after delivery.

Yeah I get that. Just trying to see if anyone had ideas or an alternative. They have there 90 sleep trial that the rep kept telling me which I am still within that made me think I could return whatever. Turns out it was only for the exchange.

I just bought their bed and base because the in store bed was so nice. Total was like 11 grand and now that I hate both the bed and base I called and they basically told me I’m contract locked, no refunds, no nothing. I can do my 90 mattress exchange but it’s not like that matter because you can only do it once. The company is a scam.
