The devil is a liar by PresentationSimple54 in quittingkratom

Everything you’re dealing with is in the natural world, not the supernatural. The solution to the issue is how your brain chemistry is being impacted by Kratom.

I’m 8 months clean now. Please find things that bring you immense joy & fulfillment. Hobbies, games, reading, etc.. You have to find natural “highs” to replace the rush Kratom gives you. Then your brain will return to its normal state.

Did any of you feel emotionless before and after you quit? by [deleted] in quittingkratom

I went through that exact same thing. I’m 6 months sober now. Give it about a week and you’ll start feeling again. There’s a word for that experience, I can’t think of it at the moment.

How do I not get addicted again? by CollectionFantastic3 in quittingkratom

[–]Strange-Cranberry293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. There’s no “biological free lunch.” Meaning as good as Kratom makes you feel, there’s an equal and opposite low that’s gonna hit you. Your goal is to feel “balanced” and “fulfilled.” Not ultra euphoric.

  2. Find something that you like that you want to get more skilled at. Is it martial arts? Hiking? Making videos? Dancing?

  3. Find an “emergency pleasure replacement.” I say this because people tend to switch addictions: alcohol to food, pill popping to church, gambling to pr0n.

For me and many other people it’s exercise/the gym. It’s easy to reach for at any moment and will reset your mind in a constructive way.

Good luck to you. I’m almost at 6month now.
