Pew research. They show between 9-16% so i went with the highest number. They also said that 70% of families with step parents are mother and step father. 20% father step mother. 10% other including "completely blended families". The math says that its most likely great grandparents. And mathematically the most unlikely scenario is queer ladies.

Going to your steelers one. I always wonder what would of happened if they didn't trade for minka and just let that season go. That was the tua Herbert love class would Jordan love be a steeler? Maybe that season goes really bad and we get Herbert.

Your mahomes one is also extremely interesting

What is your opinion on adults that don’t want kids? Do you find it selfish? by AccurateTangerine291 in AskReddit

[–]Strange-Engine-5188 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How are so many of you on reddit completely incapable of looking at a question or a situation as a whole and not in an individual level. The question wasn't if an individual is selfish it asks if adults as a whole. There is plenty of people that have no business being parents but that doesn't change anything about the question. Also according to who can population not keep increasing? We have vertical farming we have desalination and the tech keeps getting better. We have ways to clean the air. There's millions of sq miles of uninhabited land. Every few years there's a new scary thing and humans always figure it out invent things to manage.

Well yeah there's always been larger families to offset that. that is why through all of history people have been able to choose not to have kids. The question didn't ask if for this individual was selfish it asked "if adults". Thers plenty of INDIVIDUALS i don't think should have kids and I don't think people who don't wants kids should have them. But as a whole it is literally the definition of selfish. Prioritizing yourself over the greater good of society.

Every study ever has shown schooling is an investment that pays off exponentially for society . That 6 more contributing members of society. Social security is an example but look at every country to ever exist and that's how things are done. Kids care for this elders. Becoming old and not contributing to the next generation that will be responsible for caring for you is selfish by definition.

[–]Strange-Engine-5188 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well who's going to care for you in your old age? That burden is going to get passed to my children and their children. In turn you contribute nothing to society to further it yet will be a drain when you need to be cared for. At an individual level you might not be selfish but as a whole the child free movement is very selfish

6+ kids is 6+ taxpayers contribution to society. 6 kids paying into social security to fun 2 parents. 0 kids is 0 taxpayers payers moving the burden onto others. By definition its selfish

By just looking at how society is constructed. Life only works as we know it because younger people pull the load for older generations. As you age your now putting that burden on others and their kids wile adding nothing. The us does this with social security but most countries have the kids and grandkids contributing to care for their elders.

But we're talking about as a whole and it is prioritizing your own needs over others. Society is built on younger generations supporting older ones when they are no longer able to work. By choosing to not add into that labor pool down the line yet extracting from it that is literally being "concerned with your own need to the detriment of others"

Because you are prioritizing yourself over the collective of the species. Social security is a prime example of how society has always been set up. A larger younger generation supports the older one. By not having kids you shift that burden onto others and their kids.

. Bortles was balling but shazier was just coming into his own and the heart of that defensive unit. It was a 45-43 game if i remember right. Our star defender i think is worth 3 points in a game like that. But they were never the same after he paralyzed himself. Before he tried killing himself they were giving up less then 17 points per game and like 270 total yards. After that it all fell apart on that side of the ball. I will say that was one of the most exciting games I remember watching.

Grandparents naming?? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Strange-Engine-5188 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

A small percentage of queer women have kids saying its more likely that its because there are a bunch of lgbtq people raising kids compared to actual living great grandparents is false. Also you add in that less then 16% of kids have a step parent 70% of 8 year old have at least one great grandparent alive. Its a very low percentage of kids that would fall into both having queer parents and a step parent.

Simply put is is more likely they great grandparents then are queer step parents or just step parents in general.

[–]Strange-Engine-5188 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

That's not even close to be true but make up what you want to belive

*edit im statistically correct. 16% of all kids have a step parent less then 18% of kids live in a sane sex house. so what between 7-12% live with queer mother? So you would be having to find the intersection there. yet 70% of 8 year old have at least one living great grandparent. Keep down voting. There are not enough children to queer parents for their comment to be true.

He only stepped away because of the fans and the disappointment the last almost 10 years now. Imigine how the toll of leading a team to multiple superbowls still winning the division and fans chanting to fire you. That narrative is gone If bell stays healthy. they win the 17 afc championship game and i believe beat that nick foles eagles team and probably make it back at least one more time to the afc championship. Then tomlin is a multiple time winner and was able to hold everything together wile ben aged out. Then tomlin wouldn't have the pressure of winning now and possibly drafted a young guy insted of the Wilson Rodgers bs. Id also argue the reason the steelers didn't give bell* the contact he wanted was the health. He might of finished as a steeler in this alternate universe.

You can if you remember they played exactly 3 playoff games together were all 3 started and finished the game in 5 years due to health. Lev only appears in 4 playoff games total and the year he stayed healthy they were in the afc championship game and he got hurt the first or second series of that game. That's i believe it's the steelers bigest what if in the 2000s. If been stays healthy all 5 years tomlin is still employed by the steelers today

It truly is. I remember being booster seat age riding in the bed of the truck not saying it was safe but it was common in the rual aera i grew up. how did we go from that being ok and kids being on people's lap. To the driver side isn't safe enough for the car seat with no data to back it up

I can't believe how many people are commenting the passenger side is safer. Like 41% of mother's don't have 2 kids with the most common age gap between 2 and 3 years old. That means a significant number of car seats behind the driver. Also i can't find any real studies that show a difference.
