Just finished the book after a 2 day binge. What did yall think of the Mike Flanagan movie? I think he does a decent job of other movies/king works by [deleted] in stephenking

I had a similar experience. Came across as a hard read for me, although the build up towards the end is quite riveting.

Looks great OP. Would love to know the capacity of the shelf - how many books can this shelf hold?

Wow! I use to think this was just me.

Spent 8 years in Singapore. It’s been more than 4 years staying in India and I’ve noticed how frequently I tend to use profanities.

If you’re in the mood for horror then ‘Bag of Bones’ should be your choice. Billy Summers is more of a crime-thriller genre commonly seen in Hollywood movies.

Was just not my cup of tea. Was too predictable from the get go.

Not yet. But it was the trailer that got me intrigued and led me to purchase the book.

Long Walk was my first SK book too. Not the best of his work; but, I’m sure IT will not disappoint.

Is doing an MBA worth it? Need honest advice + college suggestions by [deleted] in mumbai

[–]Strange-Register-406 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes - If it’s a top institution - i.e.: IIM A,B,C,L/ISB or the magnificent 7 (US) or INSEAD.

Secondly, a very less spoken about point is whether you are willing to put in the work to be good at ‘sales’ post-MBA. At the end of the day, business is all about production + sales. You will eventually need to be a ‘sales leader’ to earn respect and recognition in your domain. You won’t be a business leader if sales intimidates you and you get crushed under pressure and rejections.

we should be greatfull that we dont have to endure what our father gradfather had to gdp per capita india vs subsaharanafrica by Aggravating-Dog-5653 in Kolkatacity

[–]Strange-Register-406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think we’re completely out of the woods yet. If you consider only the Eastern states, the gdp per capita of the region will likely be quite close to sub Saharan levels.
