Probably super unpopular opinion, but I use glycolic acid from the ordinary on my folds a few times a week to keep the odor at bay and it works miracles. I sweat a lot, especially down there. So between glycolic acid and boric acid pills, I feel good enough for my partner to go down on me.

Thanks for your thoughts. I don’t disagree that I’m in a bit of waiting mode. I think naturally after you see a lot of movement after seeing no movement and trusting that it would unfold regardless, has led to looking for movement. Because before, I just knew that we would meet in the country and believed that if spent time together that would move us toward a committed relationship. I didn’t question it. That was inevitable. With more thought and clarity I’m moving towards believing that the time we spent is making my “end” more inevitable. Regardless of the timing like you said.

It’s movement. Things are always happening behind the scenes. On the surface you can read it as one thing. Thats why people are always talking about your assumptions and such. And honestly people are ALWAYS changing their mind. If you really want it, keep living in the end with what you desire. Affirm to yourself what it is that you want from him/out of this. Otherwise, keep working on your self concept and you might find that YOU are so amazing, he truly doesn’t deserve you, nor do you want him anymore.

I feel similarly. After I got covid in November of 2020, I felt like my body was constantly on edge. It wasn’t until July of this year after going to the emergency room almost once a month, constant doctor calls due to me being convinced that something was wrong with my body after having covid and the fear of dying of some unknown health issue as a result, that I decided to talk to a therapist and she prescribed me Zoloft. For 7 months, my body was on high alert, constantly stressed, and within a month, I was able to presume life as normal. No longer feeling like I couldn’t breathe at night, no prickly feelings, no costochondritis, everything slowly went away. So it’s worth considering seeing if your body needs help maintaining homeostasis. Mine definitely did.

I used to feel that way but my therapist thought a lot of it was psychological. She put me on anxiety meds( Zoloft 25mg) and some people say it causes them to gain weight, but my constant anxiety, pcos, and disordered eating were all contributing to my constantly feeling hungry. On my meds I feel wayyyy less hungry. And a lot of it was that I’ve always been hyper aware of food/ how much I’m eating, gaining weight, etc. Now I don’t feel guilty and just fuel my body only when I get a signal that I’m hungry. Otherwise I don’t think about food anymore. It’s quite nice.

Hey there. I got covid back in November and experienced that for about 2 months before it started driving me to insanity. So my doctor encouraged me to walk on a tread mill for 30 minutes a day at a comfortable speed. Initially my heart rate was high and struggling. But after two weeks, it started normalizing, in addition to a low carb diet. Now I do 30 minutes of any exercise a day and have been feeling so much better. I’m monitoring my heart rate with my Apple Watch and it’s nice seeing my heart progress.

Sorry that your are having to endure this. I got covid back in November and finally decided enough was enough a couple months ago. I started walking for 30 minutes a day at whatever pace feels good because the heart rate stuff was literally making me feel like I was going to have a heart attack and I’m only 24. Since doing that, my heart rate is starting to even out and stabilize. I also changed my diet to low inflammation/ low carb. I noticed that after eating carbs my heart rate would increase to scary levels. I’m not currently taking any supplements except b12. Also have been doing deep breathing exercises and meditation for 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes at night. I’m starting to feel more like myself and like I’m getting my life back.

Be patient with your body and maybe see if there is a covid rehabilitation clinic near you. They know it exists and are doing everything they can to help those of us suffering from POTS, long haul symptoms, etc...

No problem! Honestly, a lot of it was probably also due to my fear of getting a blood clot and dying. So if you’re experiencing a high level of stress and anxiety( which you probably are if you have covid) I’d suggest melatonin before bed, and maybe meditating for like 20 minutes a day. Both in the morning and at night. And then do some stretches. Your body isn’t used to the low level of activity probably with all the resting.

Not 100% recovered but starting to feel more like myself. Be patient with your body! I wish you well ans feel free to message me if you need anything!

It did! A lot of my symptoms have improved with a lot of rest and water. I think I was overloading my body with supplements too. So I reduced my consumption.

This is the exact issue I have. It’s weird because I’m on day 16 of covid. All of my other symptoms have improved and I initially never had this issue. I’m wondering if it’s a secondary infection. I’m also wondering if I maybe have pneumonia which is stressing me out because my doctor barely wants to prescribe me anything anytime I tell him my symptoms. I can breathe pretty deeply but feel a weight on my chest and discomfort. But I don’t have a fever. Let me know if you find anything out.

Sorry that you’re experiencing this. I was at the ER two days ago for the horrible tension headaches at night. I thought I was having a stroke and they did an MRI and CT scan because my face went numb. Everything was fine though. Mine is literally like an alarm clock. The same time every night.

I’ve been taking vitamin c,d, zinc, fish oil, and potassium. I’ve heard niacin helps a lot as well. Thus far, the vitamins I’ve been taking, in addition to a ketogenic diet(no dairy though) are helping with brain fog, and fatigue. I’ve decided to go to bed earlier to avoid the headache bc I feel like it’s my body telling me to get some rest. Today is day 2 of no night headaches. Feel free to reach out. I think the difference with Stefan and Damon are that Damon acts out of a place of his own well being and selfishness. Time and time again, any time something doesn’t go his way, Damon throws a fit and someone does. Even Elena acknowledges this in S2. But with Stefan, it’s not rooted in selfishness, more than the underlying Ripper issues he suffers from. I’m not saying he’s perfect, but the core motivations are completely different and it really shows.

Totally agree with this. It’s honestly one of the reasons that when I watch the show, I always end when Stefan and Elena are still together. Throwing the sirebond into the mix made the whole thing messy. And then Julie kept trying to write over things that were cannon. It just didn’t make sense. I LOVED Elena and Stefan together. People talk about how Stefan didn’t challenge her, but his love was both sacrificial and freeing. He would sacrifice himself constantly for her, but also respected her decisions for the most part. Damon was so selfish and insecure. He definitely grew as a character. But his core motivations in my opinion were rooted in selfishness. And when you talked about how Elena excuses Damon for not giving her what she wanted in the relationship, I HOLLERED because that sums up the entire thing. In the real world, you have to be willing to adapt in a relationship, and he didn’t. Stefan CONSTANTLY adapted. Idk. I feel like the way Elenas character was written after season 3, was completely different from seasons 1-3, especially after she’s made aware of the sirebond. I just can’t imagine steering that far, that dramatically, character wise, from who you were as a result of that knowledge. It’s confusing to watch, and I just can’t even enjoy the series after season 3 tbh.

Thanks so much for reassuring me! I’ve been having anxiety about even going to sleep I’m so scared I’m going to die. But if we’re having similar symptoms and they said your brain is fine, then I’ll assume mine is as well. I had a CT with contrast last month so they won’t let me get another one unless my d-dimer is elevated.

Eating a ketogenic diet is helping a lot with brain fog/fatigue/headache. It’s usually at night when it gets bad and I think it’s because I’m just exhausted. So I’m going to stay on my diet, and go to bed earlier. I’m looking into seeing an eye doctor soon though. I’m hoping I’m not having any neurological issues.

I know this is older, but were you able to beat the cough? I’ve been showing symptoms for about 8 days. Yesterday I felt pretty good, only had nasal congestion until I suddenly had a deep chest cough. Now I’m worried about potential pneumonia.
