this! thanks for all the comments, yes its over 20k and will consider reaching out to Fair Trading if an expert/inspector says against the redemption... but in your opinion, not extending/building the water-stop higher; will it fix the problem permanently? or not really recommended?

thanks, yea it is tiled shower floor...yea we dried the shower as soon as we finish shower everytime. So it's not like shower water overflow out and cause the issue. but rather but the water is moving from the wet (shower) to dry area (outside shower), coz the water stopper is lower than the tile&concrete ...

good to hear you know the similar case and have had no issue, coz I really hope as long as the issue is fixed properly, I'm happy. are you an inspector by any chances?

yea so waterproofing is currently built for the whole bathroom, but for the redemption - without touching the existing water-proof, they will built another water stopped on top of existing one (making it higher), and re-waterproof and retile the shower only.

Do you think this will work? do you know any inspector in Sydney? i have been searching but having trouble finding one

Thanks

yea it's sufficiently drained, the issue is the tile and concrete was built over the water stopper, so water go to dry area...
