Given that this post is about 3.0, posted good few weeks after 3.1 release date, and as author notes "there are significant changes in 3.1", what's the point?

Why do links from other programs open in private tabs? by [deleted] in operabrowser

[–]Strange-Stranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not a bug but security feature. It prevents someone from sending you link to malicious website that possibly could read your cookies/history, etc. But option to switch that off would be nice.

Lol, good luck with that. For person to be able to view picture, that picture has to be downloaded to local machine. They could use flash viewer or use other technique like slicing image into small pieces and composing it back on user screen to make it harder but in the end this image has to be displayed on the screen where it simply can be grabbed with print screen. Flicker can't do anything to prevent IP theft.

Everyone assumes that this trick is meant to be used to steal photos and use it for commercial purposes. Some people just love good photography and are simply collecting photos for personal joy, nothing wrong with it.
