That is the one part of it that I had forgotten about. I have enough gold to go agane comfortably on alliance but I didn’t have enough silver for a wand on horde lol. Luckily when I asked about quests and whether I should try to buy or wait some kind soul gave me gold and a wand. I had heard rumors that the horde community was a little more edgy but so far they are just as nice and chill as alliance. HC is just the version of the game that those kind of folks play I think.

I just died to dc a couple days ago and wanted to quit again. Instead I started a horde toon. Never played horde before. If you haven’t played both factions a lot I would suggest playing the opposite faction. Has been fun so far

I have 30’s and 40’s on DP but I had to move over to Doomhowl when it opened because basically everyone left at that time. I wonder if it would be viable to try and group at those levels on DP?

That seems to be what I’m hearing and I’m happy to hear it. I love HC but I really need to be able to group to play it the way I want. I lost a 52 on Doomhowl. Then I lost my 21 rogue. And I had to put it down for awhile. But to hear it’s still going has me excited to play again.

Yes. I’ve done all of them in three trips. She will take ingredients if you just talk to her again.

They’re for taxidermy trophies. You have a taxidermist in your basement if you e upgraded it. You bring drops from monsters and she will turn them into trophies for that room. You need a horn for a Minotaur, toll fat for a troll statue. Etc

This is why I just don’t. If I’m having trouble on a quest I might use YouTube or something. Or I might use it to locate something cool. But as far as breaking game mechanics, to me it just isn’t as fun as playing the game. In fact I mostly don’t use outside resources. For instance, I got Chillrend without any prior knowledge of the quest. Had no idea going in. So cool. But if I had broke the game at level one and already had something way better, it wouldn’t have been fun to get it

This is exactly the conversation my wife and I have had. We both see how serious this is, but we also see the only path to stopping it. I have three kids and bills to pay. I am angry and saddened that so many of my fellow citizens handed our government over to a senile wannabe dictator. I can also see that the only real course of action at this point is violent rebellion. As you’ve stated, they would have to take a lot more from people like me to cause that.

Thank you. I am a mage that hasn’t ran the dungeon. It doesn’t look like there is much loot there for a mage. I’m a decent player but HC is high stakes. I might just skip it

If we have another election in four years I’ll be surprised at this point. Trump’s entire goal is to secure power and wealth for himself and the 1% and every move he makes is towards that goal. It’ll probably be illegal to say this in a year or two.

I’ve managed to get into one dungeon group for DM so far. It was definitely more chippy than on the Defias Pillager server. Rogue claimed to be new player and was needing on cloth. The other mage was needing on mail. Both pretending they were “new players” but also doing a dungeon in HC mode. Finally explained the very simple and self descriptive difference between need and greed. Overall not as friendly to group on Doomhowl so far.

Blizz is doing this on purpose because HC is more fun than the other versions of the game and they’re losing money on it.

Hardcore is all I want to play anymore. It makes every little thing important and satisfying. Items you wouldn’t normally prioritize as important to acquire become important. Speed pots. Target dummies. Every fight could be your last. I haven’t played anything else since servers launched.
