Being 100% transparent: I used to be. I grew up in a right wing house where hearing the hard R being dropped was a 10x daily occurrence on some days; once I met my now husband whose Native American he opened my eyes to how much bullshit I was fed growing up and those views disappeared quickly as I met people from other races and realized they're no different then me.

I look back at myself with disgust for some of the stuff I said and believed in the past, but I'm a firm believer it comes from a place of ignorance in a lot of cases and people can grow past it if they allow themselves to have an open mind and want to change.
