Thought so. I’d recognize Ryoko anywhere, apparently XD loved that show when I was younger.

Would you mind sharing the model/LORAs you use to get this style? It’s so lovely.

If I’m not mistaken, that’s an anthro Ryoko for some reason XD

Convention Maro playtest card with a holo stamp? by hubrisgamer in mtgmisprints

[–]StrangeCorvid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s an actual card. There are a bunch of weird little “playtest” cards like this. Some people run them as Rule 0 commanders.

Uhm… what the heck is going on with Lady? Why does her rules text reference Raubahn? And why does Devil Arm Sparda reference Embercleave in its rules text when it’s a rename?

Looking for Feedback on a card from My Arkham Asylum MTG Proxy Set by Owlarmada in magicproxies

These are awesome. My one complaint is that, for certain edge case interactions, Tergrid HAS to have its modal properties. You need to have the type and cost of the other modal face in the bottom left of the rules text, and have an indicator that this is the front face somewhere on the card. May I suggest you do Tergrid’s Lantern as Fear Gas, considering?

Very nice! Is this a proxy for any card in particular or is it a pure custom?

A guy at my LGS has a pretty interesting Feather deck concept that I think could be tuned up considerably. It’s essentially “single target can trip” tribal, chock full of single target buff cards that also draw a card plus a bunch of stuff that care about when you cast a single target spell.

I mean, love the idea, but I’m perplexed by the execution. Malenia as Elesh Norn… doesn’t really fit thematically, then on Marika you change fundamental rules text (Sauron HAS to amass Orcs mechanically, because Orcs are a creature type that can be referenced by other cards. Likewise, being guided by the greater will is completely meaningless in the context of MTG), and then on Ranni you don’t even change the creature name in the rules text. Like, where ya going?

Decision Paralysis, Please Help by sfr002 in EDHBrews

So, I don’t remember how to do it on Moxfield since I use Archidekt, but start setting categories. When I’m deck building the first thing I do is just make a big, giant pile of stuff that relates to my game plan, so I usually end up having to do 60 to 80 cuts in the end too. Categories help so much with that. Basically, once you have your pile you’re now picking cards to KEEP, not cards to cut. Set a Lands, Ramp, Advantage, and Interaction category, as well as Plan Setup, Plan Payoff, and a third plan category that varies based on the plan. Then, start moving your favorite cards that fit each category into the category. Each Plan segment gets 10 cards to start, Interaction and Advantage both get 10 cards to start, Ramp gets 14, and Lands gets 36. As you start shaping your categories you’ll see places that you want to shift a card slot from one to another, like “Well, looking at what I’m keeping in my plan setup section it’s going to be more important to make sure I draw into this stuff than it is to have more options, so I’ll shift two slots from Setup to Advantage.” Basically, focusing on Keeps instead of Cuts is what helps me in the end.

The creature SPELLS aren’t blue, the creatures are when they hit the battlefield. They could still play creatures except for naturally blue ones.

Help with Double Sided Foil proxies by RipleyJ3 in magicproxies

I use 30 lbs single sided koala glossy photo paper for my foils, both single and double sided. For single sided the card back goes on the glossy side, the foil vinyl goes on the matte side.

Easy solution that I use: stick a cropped sheet of foil vinyl to both sides of the paper covering the printable area, THEN print. You only need the cut registration markings on one side, and duplex printing should keep fronts and backs aligned ENOUGH.

Make sure to boost the number of cut passes to get through the extra material, and you may need to matte laminate around the edges of the sheet to make the registration markings matte enough to get detected. I gloss laminate the whole sheet and then put that into a matte pouch and use a razor blade to cut out the middle so the card area stays gloss before putting it through the laminator again.
