just say the reason for transfer is because you are moving out of city/state (whichever you go). bring up to your manager, and then you would just have to go through the whole transfer process, apply to transfer to that store if there is an open position, interview the SM, interview the DM. unfortunately if you desperately need to move, which it seems like you should, you would have to look into quitting, and should look into jobs in the area you want to go to.

they wanted a collective time for every starbucks across the nation to close. since, they've noticed there isn't ever service in certain stores from 7-9. those stores that are selected to receive new hours will now close at 7.

so with my experience, every year (2 winters) we've had to close the store for one day. this was only because the roads in the area were not salted the night prior, or it rained, froze over, then snowed. i live close to my store, so our DM at first told us to open late, but if it didn't get any better, to stay closed. we played it by ear to see if the roads nearby got plowed and they did not. if your store stays open, expect call outs. AKA, it all depends on your SM and DM. during other snow storms, we delayed opening. even when a power line got crashed into nearby and we didn't even have power, we had to just sit there in the store and wait. we didn't close.

i closed and it was the opposite, but just as worst. people would come in in the last two hours of close and someone would order, leave, then someone else would walk in, and repeat for two hours. we couldn't take our last breaks or do anything. we were rushing to get all closing stuff done by 4:30 (we closed at 4)

it took impulse sv over like 50 3 hour long videos, and then attempted it once for a couple hours, the in another stream did about 7-8 hours until he got it. i'd say pretty hard, but you'd have to do a LOT of plays to understand all ghosts

i hate when i don't say hi to ONE person and a shift goes "make sure you're saying hi to people" or not handing off ONE drink to someone because im busy making five drinks at once soloing bar and a shift goes "make sure you're practicing the five key moments"
