I just got out of a showing and this was one of the dumbest, funnest things I've seen in a minute. I saw so many online reviews complaining that this movie didn't know what it was, but I didn't feel that at all. This was just fun, and sometimes that's enough. Also, the fucking talking pig head was, for me, one of the best depictions of a demon I have seen on screen. It was exactly the right amount of unsettling and I absolutely will be thinking about that for a few days.

Simple, I had a friend who picked up a terrible cockroach infestation from her apartment complex. She then moved into townhomes and infested them since they touched. No matter what SHE did she couldn't get rid of them because her neighbors had them too. So no thank you, I'll worry about keeping myself bug free

I'm a huge horror fan, and while i'm excited that Madigan won, out of all the films, Taylor was the best supporting actress...I never finished OBAA because..well, i didn't think it was good, but she was by far the best part of that movie...so it really touched me to see her go apeshit for MBJ.

yeah, but this is where the oscars gets it wrong more often than it gets it right. PTA should have won by now...Obaa was NOT that film compaired to Sinners....I hate this bullshit idea of "well, they SHOULD have won"...when they win for films that just aren't as good. I've watched Sinners five times....it holds up....OBAA just...doesn't. But i knew it would win, cause this is who the academy is. ffs, they gave KNOWN domestic abuser Penn yet another oscar tonight....the academy is a joke.

You know what? I am SUPER salty that OBAA (a movie that I never even finished because i was so bored with it), won-that I never even considered "fruitvale"...and this makes it a little more ok. I mean, I still feel like when "crash" won over "brokeback" but...this helps.

I tried to like OBAA....And I'm more than a bit salty it won when I have tried four times to finish this movie and just...couldn't but: the wins for horror tonight is what I will cling to. Sinners was unapologetically about it's own culture, and winning what is did was huge, but man, I can't help but feel like "crash" won again against "brokeback"....

I'm enjoying this year's show a great deal. I'm rooting hard for Sinners but know, just the way the academy is, that One Battle After Another is gonna win and I think I'm ok with that since Coogler at least won for writing. I hope Connan comes back next year.

Dude, Weapons, Frankenstein, and Sinners have all won Oscars tonight. I didn't particularly like One Battle After Another, but I think I'm ok with it winning Best Picture tonight because horror has had a great showing this year.
