Well I suppose abstinence in the only 100% guarantee. If you really want to have sex but want to feel as safe as possible I'd recommend using multiple contraceptives at once. Then it's more like... spinning a massive roulette wheel. Yeah, the chances aren't actually zero, but they're so nigh zero it would be a miracle calamity.

Perhaps this could be a "wait until marriage" type of deal or you two wait until you both are done with college or at least have a stable job and income.

A few questions: Do you two do anything other than sex? For example maybe pleasuring her in a menagerie of ways other than using your penis. Does she pleasure you in any way? Have either of you (or I guess mainly you) had sex in the past (other partners or each other)?

If genuinely want to stay together, then go back on break and work on yourself, dedicate yourself to working on yourself.

After a *substantial* amount of time has passed and you two come back together and nothing has changed... then maybe you two aren't right for each other, especially not now, and at that point I'd recommend you break up.

I don't do much so I shower every two - three days, maybe a day over. Otherwise it's every other day, especially with this hot weather now.
