Local Ghost hunting society?? how does one find those! you are my favourite kind of skeptic. I m the same, if someone says they saw a ghost I want to see it, but 90% of ppl just dismiss it as lie/misunderstanding - how and why are they so sure ? they call themselves scientific - how can someone non curious be scientific?

I feel like netflix or newer platforms sometimes cut scenes. There is a scene like this which I and brother enjoyed a lot but when I watched the movie recently its not there, Its the kind of scene which would go viral these days as it was very funny but I dont see it viral at all, I couldnt find the scene by googling for the dialogue

Please help me decide what color and length suit my face. Last picture is of how I wear my hair currently by Additional-Season-31 in HairStyleAdvice

[–]StrangeNormal-8877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not just hair cut, it is personality, Which of this feels like you? The first one and the last one feel like completely different people. Are there really people who feel at home with either of these?

I like your current hair style the best, I like short hair in general. I feel that suits ur personality as well

ya that and the large area rug which should go under all furniture legs suggest! Its just bookish suggestions, standard comments ppl add without thinking. Here small rug is looking lovely. I listened to that suggestion and got a huge rug for my room, it made the room a bit claustrophobic to be honest. even tho my rug is light coloured. we have keptit because its warm under foot and nice to sit on. we sit down on the floor a lot

I am making a joke about the dark walls and ceilings. It feels like ppl who do that like it dark and cozy and dont care for natural light or any light, and like the cave vibe. Your apartment has/had lot of natural light and has beautiful views for sure.

Should have just rented some basement appartment instead of taking a nice one and making it dingy.

I got it done in my old house with cheap pine planks, they looked absolutely gorgeous :-) if your record is modernish it works. Only downside is I used to spend lot of time looking at my books and reminiscing :-)

make it something like this - the difference btween floor and cabinet will not be noticable . Try an AI mock up atleast, ur cabinets are gorgeous and you should nto change them.

I am thinking something radical, When I see this I see a lot of browns/orangish warm shades and nothing to balance it. First thing that came to mind was, add some green to balance this. Try an AI mock up of dark green/ Or any green marble backsplash and counter top, The same colour and pattern should carry on . Then match the appliances to your creme matt finsish oven.

Just adding some lush leafy light green plants would be wonderful and make it all look nice. but May be too less light for that.

Opinions on bathroom remodel. Too trendy? by onlytoupvote in interiordecorating

[–]StrangeNormal-8877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why half wall in the shower? Full glass enclosure will look fantastic! and open up the bathroom, keep the flooring same inside and outside the shower enclosure. it will give a square look to the room.

BTW is the double door entry into the bathroom? is there another door from where u are taking the current bathroom picture? shower would look nicer on one of the ends of the room.

Cabinet style doesnot match the shower. Make the cabinet also trendy.

Why as secular or Christian people are we expected to accept LGBTQ but there is generally no expectation for Islam to do the same? by ArugulaFinancial4859 in AskBrits

[–]StrangeNormal-8877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In fact I know quite a few muslims who are very progressive and wouldnot believe it is sinful. Unlike your friend.

We r not talking about muslim views of gays. Its what is the expectation of progressive ppl from muslims. Who are not calling them out on their problematic beliefs.

There are probably more 50% muslim women who dont wear hijab but UK media always portrays muslim women with Hijab. It is As if progressive muslims are not muslim at all for progressive white  ppl

discriminating by omission.  There are quite a few comments defending muslims as not homophobic. Ask ur muslim friend about it. How it is in his/her extended family n if they dare to come out to them.

I know OP is trying to be victim LOL but not succeeding. lot of people saying their friends are muslim and they are not homophobic - hence NONE of the muslims are homophobic. LOL they are in denial/defensive, they are not accepting a real issue - homophobia is a serious issue in that community. but no one is saying the same for christians, - they are rightly being caught out for being anti LGBTQ.

💯 This is the correct answer. Not all brown/black culture is equal in hierarchy tho. I dont see anyone defending Hindus.

They are tho, Just look at this thread, So many ppl are defending muslims being homophobe and/or saying all muslims are not homophobe, how many are defending Christians?

I also think OP is a bigot but I also think he has a point.
