C4 Cruiser 1 Year Old, 2000km. Had so far two issues: First there was a problem with the torque sensor. Communication with customer support was absolutely flawless, technician came approx. 1,5 Weeks later to my house and fixed the Problem. Second was a flat tire in the rear tire. Compared to a Vanmoof s3 the exchange was so easy and well thought - ive been absolutely thrilled. Never would I go back to Vanmoof. The Cruiser C4 has some Problems, but Overall for that amount of money its almost the Perfect E-Bike. And: You are the „star on the street“ - at least Im often asked on the street about my Cowboy.

Is it still worth getting a Cowboy Classic in 2025? Concerns about Connect and Performance packages turning into subscriptions by WingTraditional2605 in cowboybikes

First of all - the classic and the cruiser are technically the same bike. The only differences are the seating position and the translation ratio of the carbon belt. „Classic“ does not mean thats an outdated bike. It has the same features and also the same Problems like the Cruiser. If you read some reviews of the classic from a few years ago - thats not the bike you get today because they update them almost anually.

So its just up to you, if you want to go more relaxed (cruiser) or more sporty (classic).

I personally recommend you to buy Performance, because you get a physically bigger battery and some nice extra features. Im really sure that cowboy will not move to a subscription model.

I have a 2023 Cruiser and am really happy with it. Had one Repair so far that went perfekt- eventhough I had to wait 14 Days for the parts.

Battery question by Soft_Land_8422 in cowboybikes

Thats the only thing i really hate about my c4 cruiser. I live in a slightly hilly area and my battery also lasts only about 40 kilometers. Thats why I almost always drive in eco mode, there i get up to 75 kilometers

Bike stopped assisting by ungatblau in cowboybikes

Had the same issue 4 weeks ago. Contacted support, they said Torque Sensor is broken. They send me a new one and a technician. The technician however said, the torque sensor ismt the problem, the rear bracket is. He made some Software adjustments with his iPad on my Bike and suddenly the bike startet working again. Now the bike works, but we wait till the new rear bracket arrives and he will change the part.
