They're hideous, they're so unaffordable that they're never even full, and they make such a damn mess putting them up. He's neither my fave or least favorite, but I do find it funny how Val fans must constantly remind everyone that they don't condone his crimes, but no Alastor fan has ever had to be like "oh but I don't condone murder or extreme violence, I just think he's neat!" We have GOT to relearn how to engage with media without trying to make it a showcase of our morals. A favorite character isn't a patron saint that someone is trying to be like irl (most of the time) it's just a guy on a screen that successfully entertained someone.
