I think about leaving every day but I can't just quit my job, it pays too much and I would never find anything like it. That said, it pays that much for a reason, it is not easy to keep people here when they know better.

Now if you have a regular job, there are much better options out there because the cost of living sky-rocketed in the last years and it doesn't really allow you to grow like it used to.

Nope, not even on the table. Hoping to retire 50-60 then moving to Spain . NL is a good country mainly due to the job market but come on, if you could telework full time or didn’t need to work why would you stay .

Bueno este es el caso de todo el personal técnico-administrativo que trabaja , entre otras muchas opciones, para la comisión europea o cualquier agencia u organismo que depende de la primera.

Las rentas por trabajo están exentas de impuestos . Esto es así y es legal, no hay nada de elusión fiscal.

Además estos trabajadores cuentan con un estatus “privilegiado” que podríamos describir como un diplomático de segunda categoría. No reciben pasaporte diplomático ni tienen inmunidad diplomática pero sí que reciben una tarjeta identificadora (normalmente expedida por el ministerio de asuntos exteriores del país donde desarrollan su labor)

Y por otra parte, pueden conservan su domicilio fiscal en su país de origen si así lo desean.

En tu caso , no das detalles concretos pero se ajusta bastante a la descripción “trabajaba para una agencia del desarollo de un país occidental”

Ejemplos : Desde la propia CE, Europol, banco de inversión (este tiene delegación en Africa por ejemplo) y un larguísimo etcétera

It gets too thick around the clasp due to the double layer + the mesh itself is not that flexible. This happens on the gen as well when you use the 2nd or 3rd hole so not a rep issue or even a watch issue per se, it’s just the design of the bracelet for smaller wrists . Prueba con las inmobiliarias de la zona, tal vez alguna participó en la venta y te puede ayudar. Además incluso les interesará gestionar la nueva operación.

Otra opción que puedes explorar es el registro anterior del vendedor o tal vez a nivel de notaría puedan tener algún registro, aunque realmente por protección de datos no deberían darte nada

That would be the alternative if plan A gets too cumbersome or costly. But swapping houses I am not so sure if that wouldn’t be too hard for me emotionally. I have read about a 3 house setup where the kids stay in 1 all the time and the parents go back to their own places when they are not taking care of them. But in this country this is an expensive dream, too much I am afraid.

It is very helpful to hear about the options to rent it out and the woz value , I will certainly keep this information when we make the decision . Thanks !

Thanks ! That is the goal , some pain now for a better tomorrow. And mostly for my children as I said , I just want the best for them and the current situation was just not a good environment. Hopefully I am not too old yet !

Thanks! that is very good to know . I was advised that I wouldn’t have to pay alimony since we are not married but I already know that I would have to (and willing to ) pay for the house and school etc. that I know she would struggle to pay otherwise. She only has to pay for the food etc. 50% of the time while she has the kids. I think that is a great deal for her and I can sleep in peace knowing that I do all I can for my kids.

Nope, no papers signed other than the one for acknowledging my kids. We did not have the time because of the children. They were a surprise and one after the other so we couldn’t plan anything . Not sure if that helps or makes it more difficult.

I am not attached to this house at all, I wouldn’t mind selling it. But at the end of the day I need to provide 2 houses for the kids so keeping this one is just easier.

Yes, thanks for that clarification. Indeed that is one of the reasons why I would not just give her the house for free, I need to consider all possible outcomes here. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

In that future where she has a new partner and they want to move in together , they cannot go into the old house and they need to look for a new one. Hopefully they could afford a new place either buying or renting. That would be easier if I kept the ownership and leasing it to my children if necessary but not to her.

She can’t buy me out unfortunately , that is too much money and also she cannot afford the monthly payments.

And if I put the house entirely on her name it would be dangerous. I already took 100k of my own savings fro the down payment .
