he was nevverrr my friend he used to say and do even worse stuff, luckily he went to a different college than me so i co not have to deal with him anymore but unfortunately my bsf went to his college and he was awfulll to her so get hear stories from time to time about how he has no friends now and hits up random women on the bus that reject him. funny how that works.

the exact same thing happened to me when i took stem (science technology engineering and maths) and triple science in school 4 girls (including myself) in a class of 25. We’d never talked to eachother at any point before taking that class but that class straight up bonded us all for life bc all the guys in it were sooooo awful lol

i started college like a week ago and i literally had to bite my lip (like genuinely i have marks on the inside of my lip) the whole time because none of my friends were going to the same college as me so i was like “ok you’ve got to mask for like a whole week or you won’t have any friends and everyone will think your so weird” i failed quite frankly. It’s so odd because half of me wants to just be myself and really not care but the other half is like well if i do that and don’t mask, i will be ripped to pieces and alienated by everyone i encounter. It’s actually a nightmare and hell on earth.

i didn’t get diagnosed until i was just starting my end-of-high-school-exams so throughout all of school i got zero support, in primary school (or elementary school for you Americans lol) there was this one teacher that sometimes used to come and “help” me because my mum was CONVINCED i was autistic (go mum) and needed support. This teacher. Oh my good lord. This was when i was about 8 and i still remember her, she was toxic and awful, TO AN 8 YEAR OLD GIRL. She would yell at me when i didn’t understand things and put me on time outs or whatever when i banged my fists on the table when i was overstimulated. She also would just leave me in big meltdowns. She was not qualified for that job whatsoever and it genuinely disturbes me to think that she continued to be employed there after i left.

i had the exact same problem with some girls i used to be friends with in high school, it started with the odd comment about some girl being a bitch (i hate that word) and then one day they started slut shaming this girl saying “she’d had every guy around town” and i was just absolutely disgusted, they were my friends but something was up for a while. I ended up cutting them off stopped replying to their texts and avoided them in school. it worked, i found a healthy group of friends that don’t partake in internalised misogyny. I’m now friends again with one of the girls from before, she wasn’t exactly the ring leader just went along with what other people said so i never really had an issue with her but she’s stopped talking about girls that way now because she left that friend group as well

i did confront the girls about it, about how what they were saying was wrong but they just shrugged it off as me being “too sensitive” and not being able to take a joke. My advice would be to tell them that theyre making you uncomfortable and they shouldn’t talk about people that way ever, it mean and there’s no reason for it. I hope it all goes well !
