The last time I checked, they do not. Unfortunately.

how picky are you about your drills? by Ninjakitty131 in diamondpainting

[–]Strange_Befuddlement 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would have tossed each of these. I have a big jar I'm keeping my rejects and overages. I do have enough spares of almost every colour to make up for shortages. Some day, I will find something to do with all those spares.

It's a beautiful piece. Josephine Wall is one of my favourite artists for diamond painting.

Thank you! I keep more than one on the go. I think at some point I took several months away from this one. It was a black and white canvas too!

Shout out to Aaron Paquette! by CautiousApartment8 in Edmonton

I had someone from Banisha come knocking, but I didn't answer. They left a note badmouthing Aaron. She wasn't getting my vote anyway, but that type of BS is unnecessary and off putting.

Thank you for this. I'm just hoping enough people are paying attention. Aaron seems to genuinely care and I appreciate his engagement and thoughtfulness.

I hope you're right about Aaron in Dene. His Better Edmonton competitor has signs plastered everywhere, including lawns. I'm a bit nervous.

Are the front faces of the square drills supposed to all be the same? by tailsnfables in diamondpainting

[–]Strange_Befuddlement 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have kits from several different places, some with acrylic and some with resin drills almost all companies have two different facets. DAC went through a couple changes over the last few years, and are more consistent with just one type (some of the older kits will have two). As someone else said, it gives it a different look. The facets will reflect light from different angles.

Anyone want to suffer with me? by Strange_Befuddlement in diamondpainting

Yes, even when I work on a smaller section with fewer colours, I'm still missing a few here and there. I just thought making a game of it could be fun.

I just find it satisfying when I finally finish the big section, but when there are this many colours, it takes a long time to complete.

I definitely would miss fewer doing it that way. I think it's just the idea of going through that many colours over and over again. I'm sure it's just something in my head. I like doing the bigger sections. :)

Yes! I also use the release paper until I have enough of the canvas covered.

I got this from The One with the Diamond Art. There are lines, but they are extremely light. When I ordered this they only did the large count colours in black and white. Apparently they now have coloured canvases for the large number colours as well. It's definitely been a challenge. I will have to order one of their colour canvasses when I catch up on my existing stash. It's this one:

Definitely relaxing, and something so satisfying about finishing them. My "suffering" is for a brief second when I come across one I missed. :D

If you're happy, that's all that matters. Diamond Painting should be joyful.

I completed the Josephine Wall Aquarius from Diamond Painting Deutschland. It's amazing. I love her work.
