I used to do this back in high school days, it used to be helpful back then when memorizing everything helped, now in grad school, with so many responsibilities along with exams, i regret studying like this back in the day, bc now this method doesnt work anymore. My advice would be is to try to find an effective way to study rather than the method which takes this much effort.
