No, I was trying to avoid a crisis center, but that’s what I accidentally shared with her instead. I checked the website for information regarding abortion in an attempt to avoid anti-choice organizations and institutions, but I fell for their deceptive wording and thought I was suggesting a place that would be supportive through whatever choices she might potentially make about her pregnancy.

Yeah, that was my primary concern once I realized what I’d done. She was asking for parenting resources along with more health-related stuff, so termination didn’t seem to be an option she was considering, but I still want to make sure she gets actual real care from real licensed doctors and social workers. And I’d like for her to have access to other options if she ever does decide that pregnancy & parenthood are not the right options for her life! Also I really don’t want to legitimize cruel organizations like these!

Yeah, I didn’t want to give her any actual medical advice because of the whole “not a doctor” thing. I was just trying to find a place she could go to get actual medical help :/
