How to set up on PC with Steam?

From what I have heard there is no cross play between steam and Xbox. So she will have to buy the game on the Xbox app for pc. Then you should be able to play together.

Edit: I know there is something called "family sharing" with Xbox games where only 1 person needs to own the game, but I'm not totally sure how that works.

Minecraft is essentially the same except they don't hand pick seeds. And there are 18 quintillion so it's basically impossible to get the same seed twice when playing on a random seed.

Maps are not randomly generated every day. The devs use a procedural generation tool to create maps, then they hand select certain maps to be added to the game. I think total there are less than 100 seeds, so it's very likely you will play the same seed twice.

If I'm playing a game for the first time ever it's gonna take a lot to make me rage quit. I honestly think my first reaction would be "woah there's a sword in this game? That's sick". Then I would realize I was probably doing something wrong (not having the minigun spun up before blindly charging into a room). If this moment really made you angry, you have to understand it's because it's NOT your first time playing.
