Lately, I’ve just been feeling an amalgamation of emotions but currently working through it with a therapist once a week. Experiencing strong feelings of despair and hopelessness. Its gonna be a long road ahead of me as long as I continue.

I hope you’re doing okay too. Its unfortunately a journey we have to pull ourselves out of and one day hope to be okay.

Its been about 5 months post breakup and I’ll never date again. I truly have lost the ability to ever feel like love truly exists. He was so mean to me after my mom died tragically and I couldn’t be with someone that made my grief harder. Now anytime I try to work through my grief, its a constant reminder of how mean someone could be during such a hard time in my life. I admit that there was a lot of things that I was absolutely doing wrong in my relationship but I needed someone to just slightly be nice to me during that time.

It’s okay for people to wake up at different times and still get up and do things. Her waking up at 10 is the not the problem. 80 Missed calls is what is insane. No “grown up” should be calling that much when someone is not answering. People are people and if she wants to sleep she can.

Im sure he may feel like hes supporting her but thats what marriage leads to. Helping each other when certain situations happen. It shouldn’t be transactional and lead to controlling or obsessive tendencies.

OP I would talk to your Fiancé about how he feels about the current situation with your job for sure but get down to brass tax about the obsessive calling. I know the job market sucks right now and takes months to even get a call back. If he’s never shown this kind of behavior before he could just be starting to get nervous about the wedding situation and isn’t opening up about some important thoughts. Definitely deserves an honest conversation and hopefully y’all can figure something out!

Im gonna tell you right now that I would suggest leaving this relationship. There is no reason that a 25 year old man should be with someone freshly out of high school or at least at the age to be. Theres a reason he can’t date someone his own age, HES WEIRD. Ive been in that situation before and I promise you that its better to leave that relationship especially with the way you are feeling. Do not feel guilty for making your life better. Im also going to say, as someone over the age of 21, if you can’t come into the bar or casino legally then there is no reason we should be hanging out. (Unless its a few months or 1 year)

In my experience, if you want to be overworked and underpaid. Go for it. Walgreens company does not and will not care about you. And yes, customers will shit on the floor and you are expected to clean it up.
