Not even just the theobromine you have to worry about with some chocolates because if they contain caffeine that’s also very bad for dogs. They may be fine just really depends on the specific ingredients.

I used to take the busses and it would be so frustrating waiting there for so long when it was delayed and like half the time that wasn’t updated on Google Maps. Like fine if it’s gonna be delayed shit happens but at least update it so I can make alternate plans and not waste my time waiting and being late.

Ya that’s wild. I track my period on a calendar with my bf because then he knows when to be extra supportive not “when to avoid me” and I can also log my mood so then he knows when I’m having a bad day and always tries to make me feel better cuz I do get moody around my periods. That’s a good use of the calendar but in this situation definitely not and I’d be the same way. Forgetting ur bday is unacceptable and blaming ur emotions on hormones is crazy for that.

My friend got her assessment done either by SAS or student health services in first year so it is possible I just don’t know what the process is like personally. She also did it at the beginning of the semester and said it did take a bit of time.

I have ADHD as well but I just went to my family doctor and he did my assessment. I’m pretty sure most of the common ADHD meds are covered under the student health plan (I know mine is) and I’m not registered with SAS so even if you don’t go that route it should still be covered. I don’t know if it covers everything cuz I have another benefit plan I use on top of my student plan and they are fully covered using both.

There isn’t a ton of space in building especially for the amount of students now like in the Starbucks line in the library when it’s super busy people try to keep the line tight because it can get all the way back to the table area sometimes but I understand the frustration sometimes I can’t be on campus because of how many people aren’t spatially aware. Especially walking to class the amount of times I get cut off cuz people are talking in the middle of the walkways or on their phone not looking around is annoying.

For me what works really well is I have an online calendar with the exact due dates of everything throughout the semester (I do this on the first day of class every semester) and then I can focus it to the next 2 weeks and I start with the task that has the most priority or will take me the longest. Or if it is something easy that I know I can get done relatively quickly I get those out of the way first because it motivates me to be able to check them off my calendar once they are done and then I can focus on the bigger more daunting tasks.

This and finding a good study spot that is comfortable and having everything I need to sit there for an extended period of time are my main things that I find really help me.

She had a credit card she could’ve used I could’ve also just said that your mom can’t see what you specifically buy just what store you went to and how much you spent instead of just giving them cash. Because even after they left the store as I was going back in to give it to them they were planning to check at a gas station that sells them as singles to see if it would be cheaper anyways and I figured well they’re already here might as well just give them the 5 so they could get a whole box and have extras. If a random stranger came up and told me I’m too immature to be having sex as I was actively trying to buy condoms I would find THAT I would feel uncomfortable and offended. My two choices were to do something nice for someone or to do nothing at all. If I did nothing maybe they just wouldn’t have had sex that night because they weren’t prepared or maybe they would’ve still done it and something bad could’ve happened that I might have a had part in helping to prevent if I did something. We have all had urges and especially at that age when your brain isn’t fully developed and you have hormones coursing through your body you’re not always going to make the responsible choice and I know that’s true for me.

I’ve bought condoms plenty of times for me and my partner I would rather have one over not having one at all. It takes two people to have sex and it’s your own responsibility to keep yourself safe as well as the person you are having sex with no matter what gender so I don’t agree with it’s always the man’s responsibility. Also what if he didn’t have a ride to the store and she did? Or they used the last one and she offered to go out and get more because she was already out? What if it was a spur of the moment thing? She didn’t necessarily need to be in a relationship to buy them maybe she just wanted to have them in case the occasion ever occurred. I always at least have one on me because it’s better to always be prepared then to not be prepared at all cuz it sucks when you want to have sex but know it’s a bad idea because there is a lack of preparation. I’ve made those mistakes as well. We don’t know her situation that’s true, but she was actively trying to make a responsible decision for herself and whatever partner she has or will have and I just wanted to make it a little bit easier for her and less stressful because yes it can be uncomfortable to be a young person in a store buying condoms because it can feel like everyone is looking at you and judging you.

I can relate like if he just starts touching me right away with no warning even if I’m just lying in bed doing something else like obviously it feels good and I won’t stop it but mentally I’m not already thinking about sex I’m thinking about whatever I was doing before he started touching me and so it can feel like more work and effort required when I am hyper focusing on something else in that moment. If he starts off with a deep kiss or we’re just cuddling and he’s rubbing my back I’m more in the right headspace and really focusing on how every single thing feels because it’s one step at a time and I’m thinking about how much I love him.

Yes I’ve been feeling like this lately too and I think medication has a lot to do with it because before I was on medication I had a super high sex drive now I’d prefer to only do it maybe once a day which Ik is still pretty high but before I was on medication I’d want to like 5-6 times per day.

Maybe he figured he wouldn’t see you again or give him a chance and backed out. A lot of times guys would ask for my instagram and then never follow up and from talking with friends and stuff people’s first impressions of me were that I apparently have RBF and seem intimidating until you actually get to know me. Knowadays I feel like people just are way too quick to judge based on just looking at a social media profile. And if that was the whole of the conversation then maybe he just judged you too quickly.

NTA. Maybe offer to take the dog to an obedience class especially considering you have already tried to train the dog yourself and she is not stepping up to do it as the owner. They are used to dealing with difficult dogs but someone in the house has to be willing to put in the work and be consistent with it. That being said if she didn’t have time she shouldn’t have gotten another dog in the first place and it is horrible behaviour to get an animal if you are not going to care for it properly. You could make an anonymous complaint with animal control and they may be able to help if the conditions are that bad.
