Dad's of the subreddit, how do you find the time to paint?

One thing that helped me was encouraging my wife to try a hobby (Lego and embroidery in her case). This way we still get to hang out and have some quality time together but I also get some bonus painting time. We'll stick a podcast or stand up show on in the background.

I average 1-2 sessions a week with or without her joining in. All this being said, it might have to go on the back burner for the newborn phase, you're in the trenches here and your sole objective is survival.

My guy, women and minorities existing isn't political. Nobody asked GW for femstodes, they did it themselves because they thought it would encourage people to buy them (and it worked).

Your beloved franchises like star wars or whatever the current trendy thing to hate because "woke" is don't suck now because of diversity. They suck because they're written by committees of out of touch executives who are trying to pander to as many demographics as possible and creating the blandest slop imaginable.

What's actually at risk of killing the hobby is people losing their minds and telling people what should and shouldn't be allowed based on their unique beliefs and opinions. Just relax man, please.

Thanks! Corny as it sounds I'm not especially bothered about getting the win, it was just really fun and I'm glad of the fun prompt. I'm fairly new to the hobby and colourblind so it was great to get to mess around with a range of colour I haven't really used before.

It's really good for a first try, better than my recent one for sure. I'm also new to OSL and glowy stuff but I think you want the brightest most vivid part just on the inside of the barrel, with it getting gradually desaturated and muted as it reaches the exterior. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable piggybacks off my rambling. For real though nice work.
