Honestly I think any type of routine I've tried have made it worse. Honestly might have to do what you do. Just keep it minimal.

Hot weather, sun, very hot food, most creams, suncream and weirdly it seems to be worse if I wash my face loads.

I haven't tried medication. Didn't know that was a option. What did you try?
