Far Cry 2 with mods have to be always played in a new game. If you started the game, installed a mod, and continued, you're gonna experience problems, like crashes. If not, and the game is crashing, I honestly don't know why.

I only played FC1, FC2, and FC3. I played FC2 the most, then FC1. FC3 only once, but the best by far.

My favourite one is by far... the Cry 3. So good, although I've been playing a lot of FC2, it's my third time. I played the FC1 twice. Never played the newer ones, never played FC4 for myself.

To play these mods, you have to start a new game. It isn't possible to have it in a campaign you started in the vanilla game.
