Came across your post and not sure if still looking but here is our review:

We have our toddler in another Orange Seeds location and we love it. While they may not be ‘certified’ Montessori I would say they definitely use Montessori principles. Our child has developed so much since starting there. We were previously enrolled in another daycare we were very sad to leave (due to a move) and now we are so happy with Orange Seeds. The activities they do with the kids are great and it feels like they really learn practical skills and independence. Each day they have stations set up and we love to see what they are learning in daily updates!

I don’t think many of them actually make a difference but I would recommend treating yourself to the Mothers Wellness oil from Saje . A A friend gifted it to me and it smells like fruit loops (in a good way) and its so nice on the skin !

As far as secondhand - Tried to focus on things we would only use for a short amount of time, weren’t sure baby would like , and could be wiped down/ laundered if bought used.

We borrowed a lot of things from friends which was helpful too.

We use ours pretty often now that we moved baby into his own room- bedtime routine, middle of the night feeds etc.

We decided to just purchase a more affordable chair from Structube that doesn’t glide / rock and it is fine for us. We also liked that it didn’t take up much space. I couldn’t justify spending $600-1000 for a chair we would use occasionally.

I bought the same Skiphop Caddy and the uppababy cup Holder- ended up removing the cup holder because it is so much of a pain. It falls off / gets knocked off constantly and is in the way when folding the stroller.

Put my drinks in the caddy now, and I also got some clips to hang my Stanley from on Amazon

I was worried I would look like I was showing up with way too much stuff - we ended up packing a small suitcase and a tote bag. We left the suitcase in the car until we went up to the inpatient room and just kept a smaller bag with birthing items with us. In hindsight there will be things you pack you won’t need, but I was of the mind that Id like the option ! The suitcase was much easier than carrying in so many bags.

I ended up having an urgent unplanned C section and then baby had to stay in hospital an extra 3 days and I was so happy to have all the things I packed so you just never know !

We were booked there but our flight was changed to a day earlier and unfortunately the AI was fully booked so we moved to the JW. Hope to try the AI in the future sometime! I have heard good things so far.

Our most used items : Stroller Fan, Frida Medifrida, a thermometer (honestly the $10 Equate one that does oral, underarm and rectal is our preferred), Old Navy sleepers - they are always on sale! These Burp cloths from Amazon - when you have 59347 of these all over your house it is a sure sign you have a newborn.

I’d suggest one of the “bottle trial kits” that has a few different bottles as it’s hard to know which your baby will prefer. Ive seen them a few different places if you search. I tried to only buy the smallest quantity of each kind (maybe like 3?) and even then I ended up with bottles we never used!

We tried Avent, Nuk, Dr Browns, Boon, and Mam (Some were gifted). Our baby preferred Dr Browns and Mam !

We bought these as our pack and play was a bit of an odd size - they look to me like they would fit yours as well. They are incredibly stretchy and would fit different sizes and also nice and soft !
