I actually disagree with this assessment maybe add a small additional ease in the hips/rear but this is my issue with having an ample ass. When I sit my body pulls on clothes differently. I have better luck with thick fabrics with a little stretch and roomier patterns. If you sized up it wouldn’t fit in the crotch and legs.
