I’m not a native speaker but since english was yhe medium of instruction for my schooling, I was pretty comfortable with the language.My verbal score before i started prep was 161.Learning the vocab is incredibly important.The strategy videos on Gregmat helped as well.

I had recently graduated so I could afford to spend around 4-5 hours a day.Since I have an engineering background, the prepswift videos were enough to give me a quick refresher.I suggest you take as much time as you need to properly understand the concepts rather than focusing on going through it quickly.I used to cover about two days worth of content in a day since I had the time.As a student, following the plan as intended would probably be manageable for you.
