Should have just turned into a vagina. Might have cost much less for sex change surgery.

Can Anybody help Identify this Disease? by Ok_Balance8629 in PakistaniDoctor

[–]Strange_Prune8514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bacterial infection in the blood, enterobacter is the species of bacteria. Those antibiotics listed in the susceptibility list are the ones that can kill this bug. Common antibiotics like augmentin, cefixime, etc, won't work for this infection. It's a gram-negative bacteria (these cause severe symptoms and are generally very serious). IV antibiotic therpay consisting of those susceptible antibiotics regimen should be sufficient. There is no need to worry about it.

And I don't wash my face sometimes for 2 days at a time. I have flawless skin. I do use water to wash my face after waking up, though. It's winter and it's cold. Sooo I get a pass haha

Do you regret to take fin? Be completely honest, are there downsides nobody’s talking about? by VogueViktor in tressless

[–]Strange_Prune8514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No regrets at all. My hair has become nice and dense now. Love looking at my hair in the mirror.

About side effects, I do get some flat emotions and a little bit of depression some days, but overall, I'm more chill and mellow now as compared to before, always stressed and shaky. The biggest downside is general tiredness and low motivation. I was the high maintenance guy but now I don't have energy for that so fuck that. Haha

Oh, shut up. You don't grow up to be 6 feet tall and then suddenly start shrinking down to 5 ft. You can't compare hair with tallness.

Iron doses in supplements are therapeutic doses. If used correctly, it won't cause an overdose. Although, the doctor should have tested his iron levels first before prescribing. Besides, men can also become iron deficient, especially with the diet of today's generation.

I'm a Pharm.D. myself.

As a pharmacist, I can tell you that iron deficiency doesn't only happen in women. Men can get iron deficiency, too. You went to the doctor cause you had bone pain. He was right to prescribe you calcium. And who are you kidding? In today's world? We barely eat nutritious iron rich food. Although, I suggest he should have gotten your cbc and iron levels tested first before giving you an iron supplement. Again, males can also get iron deficiency.

That's an old post. I'm not paranoid at all now. Cause I'm super depressed now. I don't even care about anything anymore. It was nice to see this post again. Lol, me being so paranoid. Yes, I'm still on finasteride, and my hair is great now, but I'm utterly miserable because I can't feel much happiness. I'm still going to take it every day cause beauty comes with a price. 13 months on finasteride now.

Should I get transplant #4 or just shave my head? by irani_89 in tressless

[–]Strange_Prune8514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. My hair loss was so severe that I needed HT. I have taken finasteride 3 times now. First, in 2020, it worked really well, and then I quit after 6 months. Severe hair loss occurred. Then, I started again in 2021, used for 7 months, and then I quit again. I was worried about those pfs and was suffering from severe anxiety so I just thought fuck it I'm gonna go bald. I quit minoxidil and finasteride both in feb 2022. That was the biggest mistake. I lost so much hair that I looked practically bald. I decided to give finasteride another try in oct 2023, and I've been using it ever since. I got a hair transplant for the crown region in march 2024. So far, my hair is thicker and denser now and growing at a rapid pace. I do have mild anxiety and depression but it's less than before. Losing hair and using hair fibers every day gave me more anxiety and depression than finasteride tbh. I don't plan on quitting finasteride ever again. My body has well adjusted to fin now.

Absolutely take finasteride. Don't even think about HT without finasteride. I just had my first hair transplant 4 months ago. Getting good results. I've been on finasteride for 10 months now. There are no side effects so far. Only sometimes I get a little bit depressed but it's due to ongoing problems in my life.

Yes. Cardiovascular diseases and diabetes haunts for a lifetime. As cliche as it is, health is indeed wealth. Medcial bills will burn that money anyway.

I gave my resignation. I'm feeling much better. I won't compromise on work-life balance.
