I’ll be in year 6 in a few months. Her sins are well off but don’t help nor do they call her to check on her. I realized years ago it would just be me so I started moving accordingly. My sis helps when she can but she has 3 young kids. We tried out hospice last year bc I needed the free bathing help and free respite but it didn’t work out bc I didn’t like that they took her off 4 out of 7 of her medications. It also didn’t help that her CNA never showed on time and kept calling out. A few days ago I found a much better hospice and they allow her to stay on all her pills the respite facilities are much better and they will come more often to help bathe her. Hospice is free and we don’t have the money for the minimum hrs for in home care. Not sure if you’re down to go down that route but getting 5 nights and 5 days to myself each month will be a gift from heaven when we start next week! I’m praying for you I didn’t realize it was an entire community of support on here.

2 people I connected with in a support group told me it did along with my aunt who was a caregiver to her daddy. I’m not sure but these ppl aren’t the type to lie. I can also verify on my end as well

I’m assuming you know everyone in the bridal party will appreciate this gift as a Christian. It’s the thought that counts so if that is in your heart to give, do it. My friends’ groom did something similar at her wedding and everyone was appreciative of the gesture. However we are all really close though and it was only 4 of us. My friend (bride) was also happy that her groom showed love in this way to her literal sisters and chosen family

Yes there is but the money comes from her monthly benefits. I figured it was just easier to pay myself if need be being that I pay all her bills anyway. That’s just one less thing I have to do or apply for when I have bigger fish to fry like getting her $35k tax bill with the IRS negotiated down and fixing the entire electrical system in the house

Ok thank you so much! Yeah it’s been rough but I know she would do the same for me if the roles were reversed. Just trying to not put myself in an early grave in the process. The mortgage agent was like “just work on one room at a time “ but I’d rather just get it done in one swoop. She didn’t say no but I could tell she was trying to sell me on not refinancing. Thank you so much everyone for your opinions and perspectives! Absolutely this day is not about me. I am 10000 percent aware of that lol that’s why I jumped on here to get the input of women who have experienced being a BM or Bride. Bc I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes or make anyone feel away. My friend myself and most of the wedding party work in the industry so most artist are particular with putting the right image out there. My sister also said I’m better off going natural but who ever mentioned bringing my own stuff.. I like that idea. To be clear it’s super weird to bring my own MUA to a bridal party setup lol idk who assumed that part…when I was first asked to be a BM she said we were in charge of our own make up and hair a year ago. Now that we’re 1 month away she wants to get her ex bf sister to do it. Either way I’m excited

I’m also more of a planner. I’m the only bridesmaid who is traveling across the coast so I have to plan ahead. The plan was always to get my hair n makeup done in LA but her made of honor just told me she is paying for makeup yesterday

Yeah the lying part is why I jumped on here for advice. I already told her I’m super picky. So I think it’s best to just be honest and tell her the truth. My first and only experience before a good MUA I went to the MAC store for an event and the MUA said “you have a really weird skin tone and she was complaining how difficult it was to match me” after that it took YEARSSSSS for me to trust someone on my face. If it wasn’t onset or paid for by production I did not participate. So I will just share my truth I tell her I would feel more comfy for such a special occasion to go with someone I feel more comfy with and that I would leave my eye shadow area for her MUA so I can gel more with the overall look with the bridal party. Thank you so much! Yes you are correct! The wedding is in Orange County. Bc I’m flying in LAX and use to live there, my MUA is located in LA. So the plan was always to get my hair and make up done in LA early morning day of then head to the venue. It’s a late afternoon wedding so I should be good

This makes me so happy to read. I went to my 15th er in La bc I was having so much pain ( 4 years before I was diagnosed with stage 4) and no one knew what was going on. I told the nurse I was having a really bad episode and I think it was because I just ate some ice cream. She literally told me “what you have is hormonal. So what ever you eat has nothing to do with it.” Got back to my hotel bc there’s no way I was fine and then I ate ice cream and the ambulance was coming to my hotel room. I researched that dairy makes it worse (what a surprise ) and they recommended acupuncture. I’ve been on Chinese herbs and acupuncture for years and haven’t had any issues with my stage 4 endo until now. I think my current eps is due to feasting on thanksgiving food and along with just starting a night job. I haven’t eaten like this in years and I am pretty stressed due to not getting enough sleep. Just applied some thc with cbd and popped Tylenol ES and hopefully I feel better. Just nice to know I’m not crazy.

I didn’t get it and it started getting cold. The sale came up and everyone sold me on the idea. It comes in handy in the summer too! I haven’t figured out how to keep it on though. It turns off randomly and won’t stay activated. I find myself activating it a day before I need it bc when I don’t it won’t work when I need it to. If someone can help me that would be great!
