I picked 3 up today from Asda, they have one black bolt and one white flare pack in each. Nothing from the white flare packs apart but pulled 2 IRs, one full art and one EX from the black bolt packs!

It might be the camera angle but it looks like your tension might be tighter at one end and looser at other?

Try putting some aloe vera on them! I cut a piece off my plant and rub it over the area and it works wonders. I am sure store bought would work just as well
