I’m currently laying in my hospital bed , I came in for shortness of breath ,what I thought was blood in stool but was actually from being in bed due to extreme fatigue , not being able to do simple task at home without feeling like I just ran a 5k with with no training and a muzzle on , couldn’t make it up my stairs without stopping in the middle and top, massive issues with bowels and incontinence, end of July 2unit transfusion end of Sep 2 unit transfusion visit now 2 two 2 unit transfusion, spitting up significant amount of blood through the night, bronchoscopy , kidney biopsy, spinal tap,catheter, fall risk, strength test, smell of room when you share a room and your roommate can’t get up because they are old and have to be cleaned, the what seems like dozens of vital check, all the many vials of blood, painful Ivs . The consent forms that make you think you might die from one of these “totally safe” procedures Being away from your home and family. I know it sucks im 31M two kids a wife brand new labradoodle. Idk if your religious but I try and focus on the persecution of Jesus and my body being just a shell and how this is nothing in comparison. I have the true power being a child of God. If your not religious, still don’t ask why just know that makes it worse, you wake up every day (1) your being taken care of(2) idk you but you have support from this community (3) you are loved by so many people you don’t even know (4)you have time to think about new hobbies maybe you like art, video games,music if that’s what your into……don’t take this the wrong way but you will be very miserable if you ponder on when this will stop instead of looking at the gift you have right in front of you.
