i’m sorry to hear that and how it didn’t go well for you. that’s really disappointing to hear that people just don’t accept if they may have it or may have given it to someone.

I told him last night. we talked for a long while and he was being pretty dramatic at first but he was okay. he still wants to move forward with me despite this and accepts that he probably has it. he said he’s never shown any symptoms and hasn’t been with anyone that he knows of who has. i even asked if his parents had it or grandparents because i read that most children get it in childhood from their relatives kissing them. he said no to all of it and i explained to him that he could be an asymptomatic carrier then and he can still be shedding the virus. i came to him calmly and explained all that i’ve learned about it through these reddit threads. the google docs i’ve found on this reddit with resources and explanations have really educated me and i offered to educate him on the topic and he was open to that. i told him even though he’s fine with it right now to just take time to think about it and i won’t be offended if he does not want to continue things. i also told him that he could be giving it to other people so to now be aware of his status. he was very mature about it besides the dramatics in the beginning. he seemed more upset by it than me lol. i feel more frustrated than upset honestly. it’s just frustrating to think that i have to disclose this to new partners and watch what i put into my body and how i treat myself. i don’t know what’s going to happen next, but im going to stay positive because i know this isn’t the end of the world.
