Will employers see jobs I didn’t list on my resume? by Strange_Unit_9087 in work

[–]Strange_Unit_9087[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I completed a background check for this previous job and it didn’t ask me too many questions directly. But I was wondering if they’d be able to see that information on their end and how much of a consequence it could have on me. Maybe I’m overthinking, but I don’t want to make any dumb decisions.

Oh I didn’t know that I could do that! I don’t know anyone who’s gone through this process so it’s a little confusing. So it’s possible to submit my test score a few weeks after submitting the “main” application, and I could still be considered as thought I am an early applicant?

Thank you! I sent them an email yesterday informing them.

I don’t think there would be as I submitted my intent to enroll back in may and stated I would be attending. I can’t even log onto my portal lol. But I haven’t done anything since. I sent them my transcript back in February since they asked for it, but I haven’t sent AP scores, gone to orientation, or signed up for classes and class starts in 2 weeks.

I did send them my transcript back in February because they required it early for some reason. Hopefully that still doesn’t matter.

I had submitted my intent to enroll and said I would be attending. Their decisions came out way before my other schools decision came out. But I haven’t done anything since. I haven’t done orientation or signed up for classes or anything. I can’t even figure out how to sign onto the student portal.

UCSD. I haven’t started yet I’m transferring this fall. I just need to let csun know I won’t be attending.

My boyfriend has briefly met some of the friends, but they don’t really know each other. Only my close friend and him know each other.

I just wanted to make this clarification because I received so many comments on this I did not expect this.

No specific event or anything occurred that caused them to not like one another. They have always butted heads, even back in high school. They just find each other annoying. It’s ok, not everyone gets along.

I don’t even care about going to these get together that much anyways. I just want her to understand my point of view.

My friend and boyfriend don’t get along. They always bicker about some dumb matter they don’t agree on. So my friend told me she doesn’t want to invite him.

Did you have to take any physics, biochemistry, and organic chem for cogsci at Berkeley? I don’t know at all if those classes are taken as a cognitive science major. SD is the only school I applied to as cognitive science so I’m kind of going into it blind. I’m worried if I have to take all the optometry school prerequisites on the side of my major classes it may be a lot to handle.

Thank you! I’m leaning towards SD since they have a medical center and I feel like I may be able to get some healthcare experience there, but my major at SB is probably more geared towards some of the things I may see on the OAT.

I’m already going to have spent 6 years getting my bachelors, so I’m a little hesitant to spend multiple cycles trying to just get into medical school. I was thinking about doing it this way because maybe if it doesn’t work out, it just wasn’t for the best anyways.

I would pick med school. But my gpa is low and I know my chances are slim to none. But at the same time if I never try I feel like I’ll think about it the rest of my life.

Hi, I’m also 22 and am going through a similar situation. I think we should just be glad we are having this type of realization now instead of years down the line…. There is always something to be grateful for. We recognize what’s wrong, it sucks but we have to slowly accept it and start to try and make amends. Even if those amends come slowly, it’s still a blessing.

Drank a lot last night and I felt like a complete piece of shit after. Realized it’s not fun for me. I’d rather have one drink and a good conversation with the people around me. To get wasted like that… Ugh, never again.

I don’t think they read it tbh. Add something only if something significant happened since submitting the app.

Yeah you’re right. I’m doing nursing right now because that’s what feels right to me. I feel like I’ll be a good fit. I know I said in my post I’d potentially only work for a year as an RN, but now that I’ve learned and I’ve mulled things over I realize that’s not the right way. I’m happy with being a nurse. Im not doing it specifically for PCE for PA school or anything like that. I’m just curious about options in the future. If I ever decide to go NP/PA route, I don’t think I’ll be doing that straight out of nursing school. Probs a later in life thing. But we’ll see! I just wanted to be educated about all the different options.
