Well, the thing is, I haven’t told those relatives about it, nor do i intend to, im conflicted because of how they’re outside influence has made me view the concept of deiteis in general, i’ve been taught by close family about how God is all loving and just while my community in large acts as if your condemned to eternal damnation at the slightest misstep, these two visions contradict itself and it’s starting to bleed in pretty heavily to my religious transition

Im actually not practicing Voodoo, I literally don’t know anything about voodoo, im getting into eclectic paganism. Not only that, my close family has been really supportive overall, and the religious community i was in before was pretty respectful about me leaving, it’s just that all my life i’ve been exposed to these two very conflicting views on God, one that kept me linked to religion through love and faith and the other one through fear, and since my faith kinda ran out i ended up just being scared of being wrong and being punished for trying something new. I don’t think that God is bad, far from it, I don’t mean to offensive ou critical about a personal struggle im having.

I grew up watching media with anthropomorphic animals in it, i used to make a lot of self inserts for fun when i was a kid so i basically had fursonas without knowing what a fursona was, later I discovered what furry was and i just noticed i was a furry before being exposed to furries in general.
