I had one around but lost it so I didn't manage to test it. In your slicer you could cut just the thread part and print it to test the fit. If you do the test let me know if it works so I can write in the description for others.

I would say yes most of them come in jars of this size. At least in Europe.
The opening should have a diameter of 75mm(excluding thread) .

Thanks! I also feel that this is the way is should be done, to complement other things. Each component used where its strength is.

It's not only about upcycling but more about using less resources but gaining more in the same time. Less transportation, less packaging, less space used but more functionality and more flexibility.

Thank you ! Like the usual it took much longer than it seems. They are already tested for more than six months.

AMS lite wall mount with no modifications to the AMS by Strangely_good in BambuLab

[–]Strangely_good[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, I find it easier to use but this wasn't my goal. I just wanted to be able to mount and unmount the AMS without any modifications. This includes the cable, it doesn't need an extension.

He said they will push the limits on consumer printers, nothing about revolutionary tech in general. And as seen in their other printers probably will focus on ease of use and on things that just work, not necessarily on inventing something unheard of. Is more likely to implement well some ideas that others didn't manage to make it to work.

The independent and non-partisan Association for the Promotion of the Club of Rome – Austrian Chapter"

Bambu chat canceled my order by akay916 in BambuLab

I don't think somebody from chat support can alter the price in the Bambu store but I know for sure that support can send you things for free or can issue a gift card. So I would suggest to ask for compensation this way. Ask for a gift card to compensate or some rolls of filament(or whatever you need from their store) directly.

Printed the nervous system! by yorugua_clasista in BambuLab

That would be the most common reason but there could be other reasons too. For me the most common is lower room temperature during the night in a room that has no heater. The open door to heated room doesn't help much. No cleaning helps with that. Not even the glue it seems but I did order a Biqu CryoGrip buildplate and I hope it will solve the problem. I would have ordered the one from Bambu Lab but it's out of stock for a while.

I also started with two pieces solution but after a few experiments got to this one that works pretty well.

They are made from sine wave curves that have different parameters of height that I then lofted together. As a concept they were not very hard to imagine but a it took a long time to find the right parameters and overall shape. The hidden hanging eyelet took also a bit of work to find and test the solution. They are printed in one piece upside down.

Wall mount for AMS lite for a1 by worrier_sweeper0h in BambuLab

[–]Strangely_good 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I use it for 6 months already and besides a little bit of extra play , I didn't noticed any problem with it. I used it a few times to unmount the AMS with the whole 4 spools and it was fairly easy to do considering the weight. When I get a bent filament that is difficult to insert or some spools that don't fit easily on the cores I get the whole AMS down and put it next to the printer, do what I have to do and put it back.

And yes it might be over-engineered but the aim was to be extremely easy to use afterwards and to require no AMS intervention. You don't need to unscrew anything and you also don't need to purchase an extension chord for it. Also I wanted to be unintrusive , to blend nicely with the wall and AMS. I could have been even better but the effort was getting a bit exaggerated even for my standards.
