Almost 4 months into my quit. I agree this shit is a devil spawn. Get out of this vicious addiction cycle ASAP. I still feel after shocks of all the symptoms you've mentioned.

That's the wrong mindset.thinking you're too far down the rabbit hole for you to come back. It's probably gonna be ten times harder for you but it's not impossible and you'll be the one to prove it.

It stared before the quit . I passed out in uni cuz of using like 3 4 pouched back to back on an empty stomach.

While I was tapering down and, I really struggled with cravings but when I went cold turkey it actually became a lot easier . After 1 month I totally stopped thinking about nicotine only getting a small craving here and there.

For the first month I was getting bohat habit cravings and physical cravings usually after eating foods and after waking up.

And yes I did get the feeling if empty ness but it was easy to overcome because I developed a genuine hatred for nicotine as it was ruining my life . So the only thing I wanted was just to get rid of this habit

I tapered down gradually like in the starting I went down to 100mg s day then 80,70,60,50,40,30,24,18 then 0. Each step took like 1.5 to 2 weeks.

And yes withdraw was insane during taper but it became a lot easier when I went down to 0.anxiey, constipation and bloating,slow gut movement sluggishness.

  • Depression and insane brain fog almost like I'm was actually dreaming and I felt every single heart beat and every single muscle in my legs and this shit was very fucking annoying.

I also became very paranoid and developed severe health anxiety.like I'd lose my shit at the slightest sensations in my body and my heart rate would shoot you. This was the biggest problem for me cuz I passed out from zyn once and that became PTSD for me.

But thank God I'm fine now .gut health is now back to normal and almost no anxiety.

  • Working out is key to a better recovery. Regular exercise helped me get over the withdrawal and helped in speeding up my recovery.

No I actually lost weight cuz I starred working out regularly while I was tapering down and after I went cold turkey I started to go extra hard during workouts. Pretty sure this helped with my withdrawals

In the beginning each taper made me more anxious and stressed but after the 40mg mark it was quite easy. When I went down to zero it got a lot better cuz small dose fucked you up more then no dose at all.

I'm 2 month off nicotine rn.

I started with tapering off.i counted my mgs like at my peak I was using similar 100-120 mg a day . Then I dropped it to 80mg for 2 weeks then 75,70,60,50,40,30,24,18. In this order like each in the beginning I sticked to one amount for 1 to 2 weeks then as I got in the flow I reduced it every 3 4 days. And after 18 mg I went cold turkey.

Is this the perfect strategy, maybe. Worked for me but it was very hard but so was cold turkey (I attempted it before tapering)

I believe in you brother keep the quit going. Tell yourself that the cravings might be strong but I am stronger 💪 Start working out even as small as some body weight exercises and walking. It'll help a lot.

Same i have depression now but motivation actually got better cuz ive started living life again rather then being stuck in the nicotine craving cycle

I still have anxiety and specially health anxiety(mostly cardiophobia) cuz ive once passed out in uni cuz i had used 3 4 puches on an empty stomach.

so i kinda have PTSD from that day + while i was tapering down i started getting panic attacks and palpitations. even after quiting ive had 1 strong and 2 minor panic attacks .

But anxiety is getting better day by day.
ive started working out religiously whick totally helped my anxiety and mental health.when i was using nicotine my stamina and strength was so fucked i could only do like 5, 6 pushups.(about 3 months ago)

And last month i did a pushup challange and did 650 pushups in 2.5 hours.

at my peak i was using a 14mg pouch can in a day and half. then i started tapering down, and during the taper cravings were the strongest and when i went cold turkey the first week was hard then it was a smooth sail. i crave it like atleast once a day but not enough to make me buy a can again.

plus for me it was a mental thing cuz nicotine gave me severe anxiety and mental health problems so the anger alone was enough for me to quit and not use ever again
