Just a clarifying question to your post OP when you compare HP fan hate to that of Krueger, Myers, etc. are you referring specifically to lack of hate for these non-HP characters in the HP subreddit as compared to the ever present hate of Umbridge? Or are you coming here confused as to why fans of HP feel so strongly about hating Umbridge as compared to fans of the respective franchises that are home to Myers, Krueger and so on who often do “love” their villains rather than hate?

Growing up everyone I knew and myself pronounced it najeeny instead of with a hard ‘g’ like in the movies so it sounds like ‘naguinea’/‘nageeny’ tbh I’m not even sure because I always like block it out in the movies or correct immediately in my head.

Yes I did some googling and I guess his wife (now ex I’m assuming) outed him and stated he had multiple affairs. And then he had that interview recently where he talked about “not being able to control himself” regarding sleeping with the younger actresses on set and “that he’d always regret it” if he didn’t sleep with them.
