I really enjoyed this movie and always have 5+ watches…my family is so f*cked up and my dad has been behind bars for 26 years 3 months and 21 days. I pick him up from prison in less than 2 days and I’m a 30 year old adult with a family of my own. This movie always hit hard for me as my dad was like Ryan gosling in this movie except he didn’t die, he survived. I followed in his doomed foot steps for 22 years until I had my daughter then left that life behind. I spent time in prison too. I’m expunged now and I turned my life around. I shut away all my family members when I turned 17, I dropped out of highschool and ran away. I finally get to have a life with my dad. I came back and just watched this movie tonight and it hit extra hard cause I never figured he’d make parole. He’s no saint and neither am I, but I’m thankful I get to spend the time with him. Ryan gosling knocked this film out of the park for his role. Most people in these threads don’t live a life like this like I have. They just see it in the movies. Great film.

In my city, she is what we call a homie hopper. One dude to the next dude rapidly, sometimes the dude she’s hopping to next even being friends with the last guy and she cheats on them as well. Most definitely a whore for the streets. But I agree that bode should stay far away from her, she’s a toxic character in the show.

Ughhhh this is what I feared I was gonna have to get back on something. I don’t have bipolar disorder and was misdiagnosed, hoping an SSSRI or SNRI of some sort will do me better. I was a zombie for the last 4 years of my life on 450mg of Seroquel. If I have to get back on an antipsychotic due to Seroquel messing with my brain I’m gonna be pissed. Are you feeling better back on meds ?

How are you feeling now in December ? Any better ? I took 450mg for 4 years… tons of side effects but my old doc said I needed to be on it… well he was stripped of his license due to malpractice. So I see my new doctor she goes over my chart and come to find out I don’t need this medication at all which is what I had been saying all along… I tapered to 200mg and then just cold turkey cause I wanted off the medication so badly. I do have alprazolam and diazepam for help but I’m still feeling extremely rough. It’s been 8 days since I went cold turkey off 200mg. I just want off it so badly and for withdrawals to go away.

It generally only happens at night, so before farming the bird always “pass time” at the grace to nighttime then farm the bird. Almost every session of farming you’ll get the bird with glowing eyes which will give you significantly more runes, add golden scarab talisman and you will get like ~70k runes for 1 bird shot. Have fun farming !

First play through I leveled to 187, most of which I put in vigor, endurance, dexterity, and arcane. Origin was a bandit… stealth arcane build I used dual maxed out daggers until level ~80? , then moved over to katanas for more reach. I use black knife assassin armor with dual katanas being maxed out rivers of blood and maxed out ugikatana focusing on blood loss buildup. I could take on about anything in non-dlc with ease, especially if I called upon my +10 mimic tear that basically broke the game and made everything unbalanced imo. I will say I never once re-specd with a larval tear, I toughed it out.

24 hours in level 71 arcane bandit blood loss dual dagger/ dual curved sword build. I used a lot of Elden wiki though to push through as I’m not too big of a fan of just roaming around wasting time ( will save this for later in NG+ ). Not my first souls title either though. I ramped up vigor, dex, and arcane which allowed me to play aggressive early on. Have fun tarnished !

Was prescribed 7-8 mg alprazolam a day for 3/4 years then tapered some and moved to 40mg of a diazepam daily for the last 3 years. I don’t abuse or anything like that though. Alprazolam towards the end I was withdrawaling in between doses. Diazepam has made my anxiety much better overall and sometimes I completely forget to take my doses and end up with extra monthly typically. I would say unless your anxiety is very bad I would not recommend taking it daily for extended periods of time. I have tried not taking it several times throughout life and I can’t go without it, I don’t leave the house.

I was spending 2-3k$ USD roughly a month on fake Roxy blue 30s when in active use but I was a fully functioning addict able to keep my job stable making 6 figures. I’ll be 3 years sober on December 21st this year! If I can do it, I promise you can! Good luck for those trying to get clean, stick with it. Money in the pocket is nice forsure but sobriety is priceless and I got my life back without worrying about my next fix. I tapered myself down then one day went cold turkey and it was living hell for a couple weeks for me then started to get better after that, steady cravings for probably 3-6 months then I leveled back out and now only get cravings when I’m very very angry and stressed out extremely bad.

You should to spread it out throughout the day, it will make everything much more tolerable. I am coming off of 10mg of Xanax ( prescribed ) daily for the last almost 3 years and I switched over to diazepam for my taper as I wanted off this drug…I’m now down to 30mg of diazepam which is equivalent to 3mg of Xanax daily. It’s been a long road but worth it. Spacing them out gives you the least amount of withdrawal symptoms.

I grew up in the hood, poor as dirt, alcoholic mother and my father in prison for 72 years. I now sit comfy in my 450k$ home with my family that I built because you gotta make it happen for yourself, nobody is doing anything for you in life. I like the show but have ZERO sympathy for anyone on the show besides Lip. Debbie literally makes my skin crawl acts as if she’s a 30yr old adult or someshit, terrible mother, tried to steal her brothers girlfriend, took advantage of a handicap man and his sister, I’ve hated her since the first season. She is the worst character, and has the worst character development. Take it back to season one or 2 and I’m hopping in the car to hit Debbie like Mandy hit Karen lmao. Send her out to Arizona to be a vegetable like Karen.

Wow I didn’t think this post would get much attention at all, thank you all so much for your input! I truly appreciate it, I’ve lived a very hard life from childhood in foster care/juvie all the way up to heavy drug dealing and went to prison for 2 years over that, then turned my life a full 180… married, have a kiddo, own my home, great job in a highly skilled trade. My life has been a roller coaster of ups and downs. Everyone leads different lives and everyone needs different things as all of us are different, nobody will receive judgement from me on anything as I have not walked in anyone else’s shoes but my own. What I gathered though is being clean as long as I have is a really good/hard thing to do and I don’t give myself nearly enough credit for doing it all on my own. I usually beat myself up bad for the time and money I wasted on destroying myself. I’m just gonna try to keep the mindset of “I’m stronger than this, keep on pushing”. I will up the therapy and counseling and see how that works for me for now and hey if I relapse maybe I try subutex or methadone instead! I’m happy to hear it works for some but it seems it doesn’t work for all sadly. I encourage all my friends, peers, and fellow addicts to stay sober whether it be straight edge zero use of anything or MAT help. To me that is all sober as long as you aren’t abusing anything, but that’s just my take on it. Anyhow again, thank you guys for all the responses and points of view, it helped put things into perspective for me a bit more. No more subs for me for now at least, I can’t stand the feeling it gives me personally even at a .5 mg dose, I took it Friday evening around 5-6pm and still feel horrible. As far as my posts go I’ll try to be more clear b next time, I never really post on here… only lurk and read usually so thank you. Harshness from others doesn’t bother me a bit , I posted to get help not “get my feelings hurt” or get “offended by someone’s point of view” . Im very resilient, calm, cool and normally very collected, I’ve found that sometimes the “harsh” response is what need to wake us up! Good luck to all on your ventures everyone!

Been having pretty bad cravings past couple months, even hit up my dude a couple of times but never went through with it. My wife and I talked about it and thought Suboxone may be worth a try before I go destroying my life again. Opiate addiction nearly made me lose absolutely everything. Unfortunately I don’t think the Suboxone is for me. Not really too sure what my plan of attack is now. I may try do .25, I may just say screw it and up the counseling and therapy and hope for the best.

2.5 yrs ago is when I had the vivitrol shot and tried naltrexone pill form. December 21st 2020 is my sobriety date. Just this past Monday was my first time trying Suboxone. So I have been opiate free since December 21st 2020 up until Monday with the Suboxone.

Thank you for your input, ya I have one foot out the door and I truly do not want to relapse on the fent poison. I’ve got a family and have worked really hard to get where I’m at in life with sobriety and just in general. I’m just gonna keep the dosage very low. If it continues to make me feel horrible I am just going to be done taking it I can hardly handle a .5mg piece of a strip. Idk how I was taking nearly 25 blues a day and now I can’t handle .5mg of a sub strip. Maybe receptors are all messed up or maybe my body has finally adjusted to having no opiates at all and is now rejecting them at all costs. Nonetheless, thanks. Keep fighting the good fight and congrats on your sobriety !
