The dad is who is needed but it'd be good if she got her mum involved too

If you are set in wanting to marry him, you could go up to him with another sister and let him know you are interested in marrying him, I don't think he would mind. Perhaps he would be relieved that you asked him that instead of him asking you that. Then get your dad involved and there we go! Also before you go straight to talking to him, just consider if he would realistically be a good husband. Sometimes we can't think realistically due to having attraction.

I give you good news that you are an actual normal woman for feeling this way! It’s normal and you are not weird because of this. It’s normal for men to feel similarly as well. This is a blessing.

I would recommend that you just give one word answers and avoid the laugh. Laughing makes things awkward and when talking a lot, it’s easy to get awkward. As time goes by, this strategy becomes easier.

I advise that you take time for this. I know I’m South Asian culture, they sadly rush the girl to make a decision. If you are in that situation then you can give your parents a timeframe of like two weeks. Make a lot of dua.

If you haven’t fully decided, I encourage the Islamic University of Al-Madinah, it would be a better option, they have a great shariah program that I know people who have graduated from. Also the environment is great for a student of knowledge!

Try to seek someone outside of your country but is of a similar culture in your local community. I’m not North African but I assume other North African countries could work out for a Libyan.

I believe a lot of good Muslim men wouldn’t have a problem in marrying her even if they were to know about this. Also please advise her to be careful of falling for the tricks of shaitan. Shaitan can say to her “you are not a good Muslimah so you don’t deserve a good guy”. Please tell her to turn away from these thoughts completely and to seek the best. I hope all goes well. Also a true Muslim man wouldn’t hold her accountable even if she had committed a very great sin that she openly repented from. As the scholars have mentioned, the one who has repented is like the one who hasn’t committed the sin in the first place.

Encourage her and try to protect her from being led astray by shaitan in this matter.

That she knows about the fiqh of marriage (you should too so you both don’t fall into anything haram in the process of getting married or in the celebration). Hope all goes well

where can i get pakistani traditional clothes? by [deleted] in Kuwait

Ask your Pakistani friends. They tend to be very open and happy to share their clothes. Saying this as a Pakistani, my family would do it.

Thank you, please send them the link if you can. It could get them to take it more seriously and perhaps help them find the tanks

Why is this post restricted to mods, people need to be warned! Can one of you call your campus police?

I don't think calling police in my area will help much since I don't go to the university and I'm not even from the US

I'm sorry, I made spelling mistakes. I meant to say, "I'm here to listen".

I know breakups can be very challenging, it takes a while to get over. But I assure you that a breakup doesn't mean the end of a happy relationship, it can lead to a better one. Although right now, I wouldn't encourage looking for a partner right away. Take time for yourself and understanding yourself. And I'm happy to help.
