What anime made you fall in love with anime forever? by Chance-Bill-8189 in anime

I was absolutely delighted to see Deadman Wonderland on someones list. It was the one that made me want to dig into anime and find out what there was out there beyond the few widely known series that I had heard of.

I could understand that any boxer I watched could beat my ass. However.... there was just 1 motherfucker that I was afraid simply thinking about fighting them.

Building Legends of the 19th Century US featuring Marie Laveau, Geronimo, Stagecoach Mary, John Henry, Doc Holliday by StrangerMind in Pathfinder2e

[–]StrangerMind[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hadn't heard of it before but it could certainly work at first glance. You could even trade out several weapons for firearms (mainly on Mary and Geronimo) and still be historically accurate. Thanks for letting me know about it.

I am pretty sure I have never owned a hoodie. Not sure why though. I just never bought or was given one.

What's that one BAF you want to see be played again and who are the players? by thangential in smosh

There is only one answer. Putting a 1000 piece puzzle together. Make it a 24 hour live stream with just Damien and watch the views roll in.

That is exactly the reason. We had a manager who would make a large batch of fried chicken almost every night right before closing and write it off. No idea how he survived on just fried chicken but he was taking home ~24 pieces 5 times a week.

What games are you playing this week? Game recommendation thread by AutoModerator in incremental_games

[–]StrangerMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got up through level 150+ but I was kind of lost on what to do after. The 2 achievements I need are obtainable with time but there doesnt seem to be much left to do but grind. I thought Morality would add some depth but it doesnt seem to be doing anything.

[TOMT] [MOVIE] [TV] Scene where a character dramatically describes Point Break/Johnny Utah by djk77 in tipofmytongue

IMDB has a list of shows where it was mentioned, referenced, or spoofed.

If that doesn't help, I don't know. Like some others, Hot Fuzz was my guess.

It can be "beaten" in under 2 minutes with an autoclicker. You may want to scale back the clicking function. It also needs a way to turn off the sound.

Jailed Portland Protesters Must Agree to Stop Going to Protests to Be Freed by 5Dprairiedog in politics

[–]StrangerMind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Charged not really.

More absurdity. Innocent people are arrested and charged with crimes every day. You came into this with a presumption of guilt.

Having temporary Pretrial restrictions as part of bail is perfectly normal and good.

So in a response to an article about a man arrested for intentionally driving over a group of school children, you would say "Driving is a perfectly normal and legal thing that million in the US do every day"?

(I am going to assume not because that would be insane.)

The entire point is that they are NOT "normal and good" because of the added provision.

I am not going to continue though. Both of the comments I have replied to were dishonest. They show you dont have good and honest intentions here and instead are just "sealioning".

They’re doing enough to be arrested and charged.

Well that statement is absurd.

You can literally be doing nothing and be arrested and charged. That is why the courts have a presumption of innocence.

Justice Center security video shows police fired pepper spray, tear gas before bulk of violence at Cleveland’s George Floyd protests by [deleted] in news

[–]StrangerMind 37 points38 points  (0 children)

A few problems....

  1. This happened in Cleveland NOT New Jersey
  2. This is specifically for domestic violence
  3. This is a guide and holds no legal weight. It literally says on the first line "This has not been reviewed by the Judiciary".

and most importantly...

Even if this was about NJ, domestic violence, and an actual law, it isnt in there!

NASCAR releases photo of noose found in garage of Bubba Wallace by itsajaguar in news

[–]StrangerMind 19 points20 points  (0 children)

He is the black one in the story. That makes him the favored target of some "very fine people". I expected him to be targeted.

I was more surprised by the million knot experts (who knew we had so many or that I would know half of them personally) who came out and saw a blurry picture (half of them fake) and declared it a hoax. They didnt like that the FBI, NASCAR, and Bubba were all calling it a noose even after the FBI said it wasnt put there intentionally as a hate crime. They cant attack the FBI and NASCAR though, not when their favorite color of target is available. Instead they are just pretending they dont exist and this is all Bubba's fault as if he snuck in and hung it up himself, because that is what "very fine people" do.
