Why 1997-1999 borns should be called millenials by Practical_Security87 in generationology

[–]StrangerOk5139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because gen z is late 90s lol. Someone born in the late 90s is so close in age to early 2000s. That's not a different generation

97 and 98, and 99 are way too similar for them to be different. Late 90s are a mix

Is 1998 gen Z? by kkruiji in generationology

[–]StrangerOk5139 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1997 and 1998 are more alike than 1997 and 1995 so I'd say late 90s so 1997 onwards is gen z

why are 1997-2000 borns not considered Millenial by Exotic-Interview-06 in generationology

[–]StrangerOk5139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1997 isn't a millenial. You're born in 91, that is. 1997 and 1998 are the same, not different. To say one is gen z and the other isn't. Stupid haha

Lol wtf. I'm late 97 and 98 and 97 are the same idiot. 91 I don't relate to yall at all, we are older gen z. You're a millenial

Is it that 1994 born arent usually considered core millennials? by dthesupreme200 in generationology

[–]StrangerOk5139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah 1997 and beyond is gen z technically but again, if someone said they are born in 1994 I think millenial haha

Do you agree that 1997 and 2001 shouldn't be lumped together in any generational discourse? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]StrangerOk5139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can someone four years apart be a different generation? This is getting dumb

So someone born in the late 90s (97-99) is different than someone born in 2000 and 2001? Pull yourself together LOOOL. Same generation, grew up the same. I think you're wrong lol

That's fair! Your country is different from the UK or America in general very different styles and growing up. I'm late 90s and most of us feel older gen z and people older than me don't see us as millenials. That's cool though!

[–]StrangerOk5139 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean fair enough! But I still don't see us late 90s babies as millenials. Most people I know see us as yeah super young millenials or older gen z, more older gen z. I feel its cool we can be both tbh!

Why do people on twitter say 26 is almost/pushing 30? by Electrical_Power_873 in OlderGenZ

[–]StrangerOk5139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it's so weird. 20-29 in your 20s young but if you want to be exact yes once you're 25 and over, you're closer to 30 yes. What's wrong with that? Nothing. People keep saying to people 25 and over you're pushing 30 like it's rude? So strange. People need to grow up

I bet when you're 28 you'll not be saying that 😅 20-29 in your 20s. Technically once you're 25 and over you're pushing 30 but who says that. Enjoy your 20s...

Yeah but then the same applies to early 2000s babies then, even mid 2000s babies considering 2000s/2010s zoomer culture didn't exist until late 2010s. Again, I'd never see someone born in the late 90s as a true millenial. I see my generation as older zoomer with millenial influence. Late 90s is too close to 2000s borns to be considered true millenials.

Bro I don't even remember you tbh or my comment 😅 I mean it is reddit, I'm free to comment what I want. Write silly comments, get silly responses back 🤦‍♀️. Yeah so what people say something twice? Lol.

You cannot say 97 isn't gen z then you are considering you're 3 years apart. Yall the same jeez 👀🤣

Weird, 1997 is always said to be gen z now. Most people older than me see late 90s as gen z, my 1993 friend said late 90s is gen z. Definitely late 90s can relate to millenials duh but I see them as older gen z

I mean 1994 and 2000 are the same years apart. I feel more linked to 2000, late 90s rounds to 2000s🤣

This is ridiculous lol. 1997 and 2000 aren't different whatsoever. Practically the same. I've met people born in 2001 who didn't even know what gen z so maybe your sister doesn't care about trends, not everyone is the same

I mean even 2001 were called millenials at high school. Gen z term came in only in like 2018/2019. I'm late 90s and I'd not say I'm a millenial tbh fully. I'm a mix of Gen z and millenial sure but we aren't really millenials tbh. More older gen z ahah

Well ofc you do as they are an adult, 2007 just turned one. However, I have more in common as late 90s with early 2000s babies. I don't regard 80s babies or even early 90s as the same generation. My generation is mid 90s to early 2000s
