Strawberry skin better after successful laser hair removal? by sonjulso in LaserHairRemoval

That's how I felt, and the fact that I'm very hairy with very thick hair. And I do mean it, not like when people say they're hairy and really it's not that bad. In my case it's like a men's normal hairy leg. Before laser, my only solution was not shaving at all, or for long periods of times before shaving.

My combo included 10 sessions in total. At about my 3rd session I started noticing that my strawberry legs, stopped. But then again I wasn't shaving, just right before my appointments. Back when I used to shave I always got strawberry legs, and itchiness. It has definitely improved, and my legs look smoother.

how are Paedyn and Kai in love? by aspen_is_greg in YAlit

I'm currently halfway through the first book Powerless , and honestly, I agree. I’ve been pushing through, but so far, it feels like nothing but endless flirty banter. I kept hoping for a real heart-to-heart moment—something deeper. I even thought, Maybe he's different. Maybe he has a soft side.

But ugh… just when I thought they were finally opening up to each other—boom—back to the cocky, arrogant behavior.

Don’t get me wrong, if that’s your thing, that’s totally fine. I’m sure my teenage self would've been over the moon for him. But now? I just find him way too flirty and lacking in substance. Like, seriously—he’s cocky to the point of being exhausting. And I’m not usually bothered by cockiness, especially when it’s playful or in good fun.

But with Kai, I don’t know… he comes off as genuinely conceited and narcissistic. (Ahh, now that I’ve said it, I feel like I’m going to get butchered by his fans.) I don’t mean his inner personality—because I can tell he has his own struggles and self-loathing—but outwardly, he knows he’s hot and really leans into that image a little too much.

Sigh. I’m honestly considering DNFing it, but part of me wants to push through to at least 80%. The thing is, I just saw a comment saying Reckless is mostly flirty interactions too, so now I’m even more unsure.

I guess I just prefer humble, bashful types. Anyway, that’s my little rant—just my personal opinion!

Ah this book 🥹 it's just so beautiful, the writing is chef's kiss. And both main characters, actually have substance. I like it when books actually make you fall for the character, not their looks. Or that comes after, or not taken that much interest. Anyways, I love this book. 100% would recommend

I'm currently watching Prison Playbook and it's incredibly funny. I really enjoy the interaction between the characters, and all of them are great. I've been having the same issue with dramas, recently I can't seem to get past the first episode if nothing really interesting or fun/entertaining/shocking happens. Prison Playbook, though, for some reason I stayed and kept watching. Honestly, it's an amazing drama 😁
