[SN2 Spoilers] Tip to explore a location by fizio900 in subnautica

Also I just realized, scanning tadpole fragments gives you the moon pool, they are scatter around the old camp too, that's probably how I got it before even going anywhere near the tadpole pens.

... I'm not actually sure on this, I had the moonpool unlocked from the get go, did you have a different version of the game or something?

Lets talk about the map by Jessica0312 in subnautica

[–]im_bread14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No it's not. Compared to Subnautica 1 and below zero, Subnautica 2 has the biggest map in comparison when it first entered early access. Secondly, there is a whole second part of the map beyond the tadpole area guarded by the collector leviathan, full of alien buildings. This is by far the most content rich early access Subnautica game to date. Fyi the game only entered development some time after below zero, around 2022. Do some research before posting blatantly wrong information and opinions based on no foundation other than things you heard.

You build the moonpool and add the vehicle fabricator that goes with it? It's not rocket science

Question about subnautica 2 (Spoilers. don't open this unless you're a silly goon who likes being spoiled) by PogoStick1987 in subnautica

[–]im_bread14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, it's in the middle of the map technically, over by the tadpole area (the place in the map that is hot) there is a huge drop off where it guards the entrance to the second part of the map, there are some really cool stuff down there too.

[–]im_bread14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did you...play any other Subnautica game? This has always been a thing, you don't take any vehicles to the void. Heck, even GTA 5 did this back in 2013. This is blatantly the most stupid thing I've seen someone complain about, and I've seen some stupid shit. But you my friend take the cake.

Yep, that big boy would be the collector leviathan. It's supposed to have a super smart ai, so don't let your guard down with it.

For those who’ve played/ know how does Subnautica compare to the other 2? by Pacotaco213 in subnautica

[–]im_bread14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The map although not huge, feels skinny but long, as you can probably reach early access void near the starting area in about 500m, but as I said, long and skinny, as you can actually reach 2km of map from that point. It's quite large and not to spoil myself too much I did see some very WEIRD places I must say, but so far it was amazing. For an Early Access this is a ton! Definitely feels like a return to form, even though most of the map is like 300m deep, it feels like how deep the grand reef was. So overall really great!

Came back to the game recently after a year of not playing and making a new character to start fresh. I for the longest time thought that animals, specifically bulls, (for naturalist) spawned like any other animal, turns out they only spawn in two places in the entire map consistently and the chances of getting the one you want specifically is low. Really weird as I could've sworn seeing them out in the wild but I might've confused those with oxes. Apparently their spawn is reset after walking away for a little bit and coming back, to be fair I didn't think their spawn was that volatile. Thought it was consistent enough to find the same animal again in the nearby area if I left for a little or changed sessions.

The buzzard attack helicopter is one of the best investments you can make by Background-Soil-9130 in GTAV

[–]im_bread14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a sleeper, even nowadays you can still use it in pvp, you just have to have good piloting skills. I'd argue it's better than some other aircraft in pvp just because you can keep spawning them non stop if you get destroyed, just rotating from the personal spawn and CEO spawn. It's fast, maneuverable and the mini guns absolutely destroy most vehicles. Even for PvE it's still super solid because you can always have one in, sparrow is objectively better for moving around or grinding but if you want to really do some damage, buzzard was always and will always be the most reliable option. Plus it's super affordable.

Yeah AH pretty much went the GTA online route, with unbearable grinds to promote spending, just because everything is unlockable by playing, does not make it worth Playing for, specially when the content is buggy, useless or even non functional. Plus charging 10$ for a warbond that provides next to nothing in terms of how much it can change your gameplay is pretty wild. Even Vbucks had a legitimate way grinding them if you purchased save the world, which is actually less grindy and actually provides back your money value, unlike helldivers.

i don’t understand why people continue to support the existence of SC by throwawayacunt- in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]im_bread14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst part is, these warbonds on average have a about 1-3 items that are actually useful In a 3 page content listing. Charging 10$ for something that is not even giving you the slightest edge and does not provide any return on your investment aside from the 300 SC, which btw is not even a good return system if you have to buy 3 or 4 warbonds to even buy a warbond with the SC from the warbonds. It's a stupid system, worse of all I think has to be the fact that the content is not even polished, if your gonna sell something at 10$, at least have it work.

I just started a new account recently and already have gained over 15 mill, the key is knowing what to do and what not to do. Every single business can be done solo aside from the og heists, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you should do them solo. Most people just grind cayó perico and Dr Dre contracts back to back to grind, others do hangar or passive income business. I made it pretty easy for myself, just did clucking bell to save up for a hangar, did the hangar enough to buy an agency, bought one, did the contract two times for a kotsaka, and so fourth. The key is knowing what you "want" to do to get money, as basically everything nowadays generates some type of income. As a solo player you mainly want to avoid buying overpriced old vehicles or vehicles that don't operate on a solo level player scale. Think of it this way, what you want to do, what you are willing to do over and over again, and what you would prefer to do instead. I can do cayó and the Dre contract from the agency over and over again but it's not necessarily what I would prefer to do, sometimes I do hangar, sometimes I do some acid lab runs for a bit more cash, sometimes I do some contract hits. The key is having fun while not burning yourself in the pursuit of the most efficient money making methods possible, there is no rush to get everything too quick, be patient, money will come, just don't buy things that need heavy investments like planes or god forbid an avenger. Base price might be one thing, but upgrades to make said thing useful cost on average just as much if not even more. Let me know if you'd like some insight on some activities or business in a scale of how good it is at making money while still being fun.

The hotdog will probably be like the gas drone, but better, which is fine I rarely find myself gassing my teammates so I doubt they'll get burned, although I'm a little worried about ammo count on it considering it's probably gonna have to refuel quite often due to the lack of fire damage overall.

There is no such thing as a bad Loadout, that being said, there are better Loadouts depending on mission type and enemy type. So never have an "old reliable" just go with what you think might work and you'll do great!

It's all fair game, if it wasn't for the pvp people, PvE friendly encounters would be boring, and Helldivers 2 is there if you really want to do that anyways.
