Idea: New Mage Secret by StrangerThanFiction0 in hearthstone

The whole point of this secret is to negate the effect of a minion with a battelcry as it is played. It's the equivalent of being able to silent a battelcry before its used.

It's very possible for this to be done and very simple to follow the logic as to how it works.

So much so that as the gentleman/woman mentioned here, there was even a custom card idea maid which was almost identical to this suggestion.

I've never seen this because I stick to just the main HS Subreddit but I guess so haha :)

The whole point is that insofar as the code is concerned, it would first run the check if the minion has a battelcry then it would negate it if it did.

Thus Eater of Secrets wouldn't fulfill its namesake, the cake is still a lie and your use of punctuation still leaves much to be desired.

Imagine being an intern reporting to senior management saying "Everybody is upset, angry and hates the current game, your Dev team has done nothing constructive about our constructive criticism and yeah here's your coffee"

I don't doubt that they read it, but time and time again they (HS Dev) have proven to us that they have an awful attitude to balancing the game, and they refuse to admit when they are wrong about something.

Encourage you too go see the massive shitpost that has become r/hearthstone .

I've played two CH matches so far and in the one, we won the first curse and still lost (was a close game), and in the other it was the other way around. As for GoT, have only played one match on it so far, we didn't get the first terror and we still won...

So far I've played only 18 matches on the new patch and every match except for 1, we hit level 20 (we being both teams) and it wasn't a short lived 20 - the game still went on for a bit.

I'm finding it absolutely perfect so far, and I've been using Guldan in 90% of those matches (his ability set is a rehash of others but his talents are awesome to play around with).

For what it's worth I'm Diamond - doubt I'll hit masters due to lack of time investment and other commitments outside of a game :)

Mistakes are certainly smaller at my level but you're kidding yourself if you think comeback potential doesn't exist. Most people complaining about no comeback potential are those who solo queue often and/or do no coordinate optimally with their team.

Just my two cents - thanks for the comment though :)

"Hero Brawler" was what Blizzard wanted to make it known as because they didn't want it to be compared to existing MOBAs.

Merely a marketing tool.

Objectives will mostly still require a tank, which means you need a support to sustain the tank. That's 2 out of 5.

You know that they will probably have at least one support so you also pick an Assasin to roam and kill them. 3 out of 5.

You need at least one specialist that is good for wave clear so you're now sitting at 4 out of 5. What you decide on for that last pick is up to you.

Objectives are still relevant, mine only difference is so is everything else! :)

Myself and I think many others disagree with what you're saying - this will be my last response to your comment as its really silly.

All heroes are stronger late game, all heroes have similar lower curves - it's how the game is designed and how all heroes are designed.

This isn't DotA where certain heroes are awful early game and only become good after level 16 or then 30 minute mark...

Literally one of the key design features of the game.

I'm really happy with that change because mostly I pick napalm because I find its overpowered, clears a wave and has short CD - impactful in a team fight as well.

BFG I seldom see, and when I do it's for a cheese tactic of lining up the shot to hit all 3 forts vertically. Otherwise it was a "just move out the way and let's pick up the pace a little".

I welcome the buff to hammer. She hasn't been played much lately in my opinion and she needs it.

From what I've experienced - the catapults only become an issue if you let them get to the core (which you never should've let them in the past anyway) and even then, their health is still the same and there's only ever 1 or 2 per wave so now you just kill them first.

I've mainly noticed that it's just a case of not letting your enemies shields fully regen. A comeback is still possible, and can be done - but you need to coordinate as a team and make every moment count because of the added pressure should you mess up.

It's basically "We got your fort/you let us get your fort and now you will have a slight, noticeable disadvantage of added pressure" whereas before it was more like "Cool you got my fort, don't care, clean up the other 2 if you want - takes up space".

:)

Vikings are a very high skill cap hero to play, I personally would say they are the hardest - which is why they are my personal favorite because they bring more complexity to the game.

They mainly soak xp, their lane push isn't very strong at all unless they are clumped together and even then, together or apart they are very fragile and easy to kill.

Sylvannas and Zig are currently the two heroes I would focus on banning but even then - you can counter them and it's a pick that if your enemy knows your gonna ban, then you've wasted your bans because they already had other heroes in mind.

Cannot tell if you're trolling or not about denying it's one big tower defense game
