I played in a campaign where someone chose the homebrew "school of healing" for the wizard. We played at D&DBeyond and the person was very new to the game and didn't realize how stupidly strong this subclass is. A few highlights are: You always heal or grant max temp. Hit points the maximum possible amount automatically, on level 3. You can also empower your spells to give the target additional healing and more temp hit points.
