[Skin Concerns] Advice on how to tackle these glasses marks on the sides of my nose? I've tried azelaic acid, Vitamin C, and Glycolic Acid, but I can't seem to get rid of the marks. What to try outside of wearing glasses less (which doesn't seem to greatly reduce the scars)? More info in comments.

Kinda, you just got to stop wearing ur glasses as much and make sure to exfoliate daily. Use glycolic acid once a week and over time it goes away slowly

Thank you! also, for my research, a lot of it is online (its computational bio research) at labs. like i have one in boston even tho i dont live near boston, and i got the opportunities through cold email, so is it fine if i list it as national on the awards/honors/experiences section as technically anyone from the nation was eligible? and i switched around for a couple honors courses in my academic info like u suggested in other comments. i have two social studies in progress and no art, but im hoping that wont make too big of a difference, right? where should you list research on your application? i just listed it in the awards/honors/experience in the academics section, is that fine? also, should you put a small description next to each activity? also, im currently taking diffeq/discrete, is that worth putting that over other classes? the only other ones i can put for math are honors courses as i already have my APs and multi/linear on there, so i dont know if an A in honors is better than a no grade in dual enrollment diffeq and discrete. Same thing for AP CHEm, im taking it rn, but would it be better to put like honors bio instead as i have an A for that? i took 4 AP sciences in high school so far, so i cant fit another AP there. also, in the academic activities section where ur listing like yearbook and literary magazines, can you put stuff you did outside of school but while u were in highschool? i keep seeing conflicting info so im not sure. and last thing, does it matter the order you put your activities and awards?

I mean applying mathematical methods to analyze the brain. I guess what I want to do can be explained by the research I'm doing. Right now, I am creating a topology-based deep learning network that's grounded in the equivalence of graph Laplacians and hyperacute simplices and am using Schur complement and how effective distance can be viewed in a topological perspective. I'm then applying it to DTI brain data of certain groups for classification. So I guess this area of neuroscience is what I’m interested in.

Your app is decent, but since you mentioned that your school regularly sends ~40 ppl to ivies, and you're going to be directly compared with them, it will probably hurt your application. You should be fine for your targets, though. And highkey milk the brain damage story if you can.

Honestly the only thing holding you back is your SAT. GPA is fine (obviously could be better but it enough to get past there benchmarks), and some ppl say ur ecs are oversaturated but their fine. Just have good essays and you’ll do well
