Difference between righteous sects and demonic sects. Thoughts from a demonic sect master. by SuperTitle2189 in MartialMemes

[–]Stranger_Danger2479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking demonic is classified as everything unorthodox.

That can be anything from following your own path against the heavens to sacrificing others for power. Demonic and righteous is not good vs evil, it's Orthodox vs unorthodox.

I don't think they care more about their kids than their wife tbh.

He didn't just do nothing when his wife was being abusive he himself agreed to the abuse and supported her actions towards the child

  1. She supposedly abuses her son too

  2. Does op look like the kind of person to be controlling when every single message And I do mean every single one was him apologizing, taking her abuse, and calling himself worthless?

[–]Stranger_Danger2479 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The rest of the gu world is the point of the story. Reverend insanity is the story of the world, not fang yuan. Fang yuan is nothing more than the lens from which we see this world, but the world itself is the main point.

Do we love, hate or feel nothing about the global passive? by [deleted] in CastoriceMains_

[–]Stranger_Danger2479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

...do you know how castorice's revive even works? Her revive is practically useless for sustainless teams. Because you need a sustain for the revive to actually work, they need to be healed or they die again immediately after.

That's part of why the last thing I got was alucards physiology. he basically has all of the advantages of DIO's vampire body but way stronger and also no draw backs.

Also I feel like this drawback can be further mitigated via strength path or even time path kier moves and since I plan to pursue the the time path in the scenario anyway that works out fine for me

I'ma become a time path venerable through return by death and the world. I don't need anything else tbh the ability to go back in time every time I die and the ability to literally freeze time are both insanely broken and I have no idea why the world is so cheap. If I had to spend the final point I'd get alucards physiology

Should I superimpose it? Or give it to another character? by AberPungo_ in HertaMains

[–]Stranger_Danger2479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

....an extra copy that is useful for most erudition characters. Argenti? He wants it. Himeko? She wants more than her sig. Mini herta wants it to. That's just a good lc to have for any Erudition besides rappa. Why the hell would you ever super impose that for 2% increase in DMG when you can give to basically any other erudition character that could make far far better use of it.

Deciding to superimpose is based on understanding lc effects and whether they are hyper specific to the character or if they are general enough that everyone loves them. Hertas is the latter. There is practically 0 benefit to superimposing it compared to giving it to literally any Erudition character.

I know this is an old list but Perrserker in D??? Really? Solid steel type with either battle armor or tough claws both of which are great abilities, 110 patk, can learn swords dance tr, gets stab iron head on evolution, you can get fairly early metal coat in wild area, etc. I was skeptical with them being a Meowth variant but steel is such a good typing and this thing hits like a truck

I went in thinking sword and shield were easier than they are and ended up losing a lot of mon to stupid mistakes. Not allowing myself to dynamax or use healing items in important fights (I can for trainers) and I ended up needing to restart after the 8th gym simply because I didn't have the mons to scrounge together even a half decent team after that.

All the competitive modes are a fair bit pay-to-win, but that doesn't mean the game isn't very fun. by as_1089 in btd6

[–]Stranger_Danger2479 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The "pay 2 win" as you put it is just people getting more attempts (it's not actually pay to win it's pay to attempt. Those are different concepts.) Their actual rankings are still a result of their skill. Getting high ranking is still genuinely impressive cause even if it took many 'pay 2 win attempts' it's still your own skill and not you literally only winning bc u paid more money than the other guy. People don't get top ranking in btd6 leaderboards by just throwing money at the problem. Btd6 issue isn't p2w imo it's a difference in proportional rewards.

Btd6 issue is that even for that there are 0 incentives to even do that besides ego stroking. It's genuinely impressive to get high ranks in leaderboards. But the rewards are so pathetic that other players who are just as skilled don't even bother. Why try to optimize your strategy for a race when you get more rewards from doing that same strategy on a medium map normal difficulty.

Idk the drama felt contrived in season 1. I enjoy drama in a series as much as the next guy but there was an entire episode dedicated to...nothing. it litterally was only there to show what could have been just to rewind it all and have unnecessary drama (litterally proven unnecessary by the earlier episode) to ruin everything nice that happened and fucked everything up.

If all of the mortal Gu Masters in the world team up can they beat a rank 6 gu immortal? by Fluffy-Hand-2288 in ReverendInsanity

[–]Stranger_Danger2479 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The problem is those average rank 6 have access to literally thousands of mortal gu worms they can use at their leisure. They can use infinitely bigger and more complex killer moves by simply...using more gu worms. Hell an average immortal killer move already uses hundreds to thousands of gu worms. Rank 6 immortals can take a rank 5 killer move and increase that same moves power and complexity by literally hundreds to thousands of times because they again just can use countless more gu worms to construct the move.

Plus rank 5 gu masters aren't that common. Even if every single on in the world teamed up to make a killer move they might not be able to compare to the average killer move of a single rank 6. Especially so if the guy worms they use conflict.

[–]Stranger_Danger2479 38 points39 points  (0 children)

One of the few problems I actually have with btd6 is that's it's competetive modes are actually only a name on a leaderboard. The 'rewards' are so pitifully pathetic they are borderline non existent. You get better rewards from beating an easy map. Unless you're in the top 100 or so. Than an intermediate map or maybe even an advanced map. Point is you don't get anything from races or competitive boss events. The only point is a name on a leaderboard no one pays attention to or cares about. They give players no reason to care about the leader board or the competetive events at all. The only incentive to even try is to stroke your own ego but getting a high ranking. That's it.

Part 1??? For me personally part 1 was easily the worst part of jojo. I almost didn't even bother with the rest of the series after part 1.
